Jekyll got a call that sent him running through the streets and pushing past everything and Everyone. He ran into the hospital in record time.
He ran into Red's hall. He saw Hyde against the wall, crying. This meant it was bad, Dusk was nowhere to be found. Neither was anyone else.
Jekyll walked up to Hyde
"Baby?" He whispered quietly tapping his shoulder
" She's gone.... she's gone.... she's gone.... she's gone." Hyde repeated over and over
" Ssssh." Jekyll whispered as he hugged him
" it's over.... I should've done so many things." Hyde whispered
"Shhhh." Jekyll cooed
" It hurts, Jekyll. It hurts."
" I know.... she's better now."
" How can you not be crying?"
" I will, just not now. Doctor's instinct."
Hyde nodded " Jekyll, why does it hurt?"
" that's called grief, Hyde."
Hyde nodded tears rolling down his cheeks " Why does it hurt so bad?"
" it just does." Jekyll said as he sat against the wall bringing Hyde's head onto his chest
" it hurt like this with Delilah but it was different."
" Definitely different." Jekyll agreed
Jekyll got up helping Hyde up as well.
"Where's Dusk? Do you know?" Jekyll asked softly
" No, unfortunately. I don't think we should bother her right now..." Hyde replied
" Yeah. This is very hard." Jekyll agreed
" Jekyll?" Hyde asked
" Yes?"
" She shouldn't have left us... She was so young! She was so creative and lovable!"
" I know.... look at it this way she'll be there with Delilah." Jekyll said
Hyde nodded with tears in his eyes.
" Hyde?"
" Yes."
" Did you tell Pen and Angelina and Everyone?"
Hyde nodded " They cried and hugged me."
Jekyll felt tears welling up " Let's go home."
Hyde nodded " Bye, Red."
