Leo headed to Crow's Hill, thinking angrily about the stupid demon who was blackmailing him into killing other demons and about his stupid friend who had somehow been attacked by a horde of them.

It was bright and sunny, which didn't reflect his mood at all, and the hills were getting bigger and bigger as he trekked on, making him curse his bad luck again and again.

He knew the lands well, even though he wasn't from this part of Celestia. Leo was from the North East, near a city called Vulcan which had a dormant volcano near it.

He has walked by Crow's Hill numerous time but had never climbed it - it was more half a hill than a hill. The land raised steeply and the top wasn't too high to climb, however at the top, there was a six foot cross with the insignia of a raven on it, and then a sheer drop just past that.

The sheer drop turned into more of a cliff, and since the land and if you approached Crow's Hill from the cliffside, then it would be more a walk, since the land was lower there and would require you walking around to the hillside where you could actually walk to the summit.

It was pretty lucky he was approaching from the hillside already. He wasn't sure about the lair of the demons - there weren't many caves nearby the Hill, although demon signs should have been clear to him.

He would have to make sure he looked for the signs, no matter how small. The demon had put him on a two day time limit, but that should have been plenty of time to complete the job and save his friend.

Leo sighed, as he walked past a lake. The water glistened in the sunlight and Leo smiled as he remembered Loch Arthur and the memories it brung back for him when he was a demonhunter trainee.

Loch Arthur was near his demonhunter Guild and since his first memory of it was being pushed into it bathe and landing left shoulder first, his griffin emblem was on his left shoulder, near the upper arm.

There was a small home near the lake and Leo saw a woman waving at him, beckoning him over. He squinted at her and then heard her yelling for help.

He wasn't about to turn away needy people so he ran over to her.

As he neared her, he could see her dressed in full green clothing and she was probably early thirties, since wrinkles were starting to develop. She possessed brown eyes, and a plain, simple face that could have been easily forgettable in a crowd. Her hair was an array of light brown and dark brown colouration.

She looked in sincere distress, so he figured he'd at least hear her out.

"What's up?" He asked, nearing her as she gratefully hugged him.

"Thank goodness you're here! Sir, I need help!" She broke down in tears. Leo was confused, but he reasoned she assumed he was a demonhunter since he travelled around on his own with two swords and she had never seen him around before - or maybe she just thought he was a random, helpful stranger. She probably was in tears since she had encountered a demon and/or suffered a personal loss.

"Are you alright?" He asked, tentatively, as she began to wipe tears away.

She nodded slowly. "I'm sorry, it's just my boy... my baby boy..." she trailed off. Leo understood. He sat her down on the patch of grass, slowly and and tried to talk to her sensitively.

"Your son, I understand this is hard, but can you tell me what happened? I'm a demonhunter," he explained, showing his griffin emblem to her. "I may not be able to bring him back, but I can at least avenge him."

"I don't know, I've lived here for so long and there's never been any sighting of demons or anything. I can only assume it's a demon, since it came into our house in the middle of the night and stole him away," she balled.
