Thankfully, there had been no screaming in the night. Pisces had slept like a baby - the beds she had provided were so comfy and he had gotten to sleep within minutes.
When he awoke in his shared bedroom with Taurus, there were clothes for the pair of them on a table - Pisces was given a long, blue jacket that went down to his knees with sleeves that went to his elbow and a long sleeves navy undershirt. He was also given a nomela white shirt, with black pants that turned the colour navy at the shoes, which were also navy in colour. A brown leather belt, with numerous pouches and pockets was also given to him to wear.
Taurus meanwhile as given a short sleeved white shirt, that also came with a large hood that would comfortably hide his face. He was also given a long sleeved white jacket that went to his knees, with a golden outline and the same brown belt that Pisces had. Black plants and boots completed his look.
"Well, we can't say she doesn't provide," Taurus said, startling Pisces. He looked like he had been awake for hours but hadn't put on the provided clothing.
"You're not wearing what she's given you? The clothing seems really cool," Pisces said.
"I was practicing my swordplay for a bit. I didn't want to ruin this clothes before I went downstairs for breakfast." Taurus was so cool and Pisces couldn't help but feel a little envious about how he was always so laid-back and easy going. Even when the demons attacked, Taurus only looked like he was worried once and then he won a few seconds after.
"How did you kill the bandits?" Pisces asked him. "I'm old enough to know that you killed them, so don't pretend you drove them away."
Taurus smiled softly. "Well, I don't think you are. I'll tell you when you're older kid," Taurus said.
"We're like the same age!"
"The little boys throwing a tantrum. How annoying," Taurus sighed.
"I hate you..." Pisces muttered, heading towards the shower. He would dream of horrible things that he hoped would befall Taurus!
Well, not too horrible. Maybe like a papercut or something.
He finished his shower after about an hour, and as he stepped out of the steaming hot water and started drying off, he knew his body seemed to want to go back in the water. He had always liked the water - it soothed him and made him feel at peace. It was one of the reasons he was always at the pier in home town.
He sadly remembered how demons must have rampaged through the place, looking for him. Had they been stopped? Or were they still killing innocents that didn't deserve it.
Pisces clenched his fists in frustration. He was meant to be a demonhunter and a powerful one at that, yet he was helpless to help when the people when they needed him!
A flash of brilliant white made him close his eyes. When the light dissipated, he opened his eyes slowly.
"Kid! Pisces!" Taurus yelled, kicking down his bathroom door.
Pisces was lucky he was wearing a towel. He still went red.
"You okay?" Taurus asked, returning his voice to it's usually laid back and collected state.
"Yeah, I think I may have awakened my power," Pisces replied with excitement. Surely he had caused that! There was no-one else around. He saw Taurus nodding approvingly.
"Maybe you're not such a kid after all."
"So maybe you could teach me some swordplay?" Pisces asked hopefully.
Taurus shrugged. "Sure thing, after breakfast if we have time." He had kicked the door so hard he broke the lock and some of the doorway, but was still able to kind of close the bathroom door. "I'll be downstairs should you need me," Taurus said, and Pisces heard his footsteps fade away.
