1: Leo has fought a Cipactli - in mythology these are humanoid crocodiles that are meant to have carnivorous mouths on all joints of their body (such as knees and elbows!)

2: Draupnir, the arm ring that Halmar wanted to find for his quest, is from Norse mythology and was owned by Odin. It gave the wearer eternal wealth.

3: Ivaldi, the dwarf who made Ascalon, is a dwarf from Norse mythology who was great at forging weapons.

4: The hero and founder of Zhora, Aleron's name means worn by a knight in French.

5: The sword Arthur used to wield, Excalibur, is in Arthurian legend where it was wielded by a king called Arthur.

6: The other two swords Capricorn mentioned (Galatine and Aerondight) that were given to Arthur's closest and most trusted friends were also in Arthurian Legend. Galatine was wielded by Gawain, while Aerondight was wielded by Lancelot.

7: The book Sagittarius possesses that shows a different past demonhunter reflects what each person desires to be like - Sag doesn't want to depend on anymore and wants to stop evil, so Artemis was chosen for her. 10: Nicknames and epithets, such as Aleron of the Storm, Artemis, The Huntress, and Xena Pendragon, The Dragonslayer are given depending either on the characteristics of the demonhunter (Artemis was called The Huntress due to her skills with a bow and her hunterlike nature), the power they used to great effect (Aleron had great mastery of thunder and lightning), or after a demon they have killed (Xena killed a dragon on her own.)
