"T-Tina?" Newt couldn't believe she was there in front of him. It was like a dream.

Before he could say anything else, Tina rushed into his arms, hugging him tight.

"I'm sorry too"

"Mother?" Newt led Tina in by the hand.

"Yes!?!" Joanne jumped back from the door where she & Theseus were listening in on their conversation.

"This is my very good friend, Tina Goldstein." Newt smiled.

"Tina Goldstein? TINA GOLDSTEIN!! We finally get to meet you!!" Joanne screamed like a schoolgirl. "Newt talks about you all of the time!! I ask him: 'Newt, how are the creatures, have you thought of getting another Thunderbird?' Then he goes: 'Tina's in Thunderbird at Illvermorny"

Joanne turned to Theseus. "Don't forget to take notes, remember? We talked about this" she whispered to him.

"How good of friends?" Theseus stepped towards them & conjured up a piece of parchment & a quill.

"Quite" Tina looked at Theseus, perplexed.

"That's lovely!!" Joanne smiled warmly.

Tina froze. Joanne's smile was incredibly warm. Just like another person she knew.

"Her smile rather reminds me of him too." Newt gripped her hand tightly. "That's why I haven't really come up from the case recently."

"Who?" Tina pecked Newt on the cheek.

Newt's eyes widened when her warm lips pressed his cheek.

He touched the spot where she kissed him & blushed as he watched Tina follow his mother into the kitchen.

"You can do this Newt. It's only Tina." Newt took a deep breath. "Bugger, it's Tina."

"Hello?" A velvety voice floated through the door.

Theseus brightened up considerably.

Leta Lestrange entered the kitchen.

"Newt! What a lovely surprise!!" Leta sat down next to Theseus.

"And you" Newt offered her a small smile. "This is Tina Goldstein"

"Very nice to meet you" Leta reached over to shake Tina's hand.

She took it. "Same to you" Tina smiled.

"Are you dating?" Leta passed Tina a cup of tea.

"Who?" Tina was taken aback.

"You & Newt of course!" Leta gave a light laugh.

Tina examined her intently.

She was very beautiful. Her hair was short & silky. She had tanned skin & had an air of elegance. She was a little bit like Queenie but more mature.

"Tina?" Leta asked again. "Are you two together? I hope so, Newt is obviously very much in love with you."

Tina sighed happily. She was happy with that for now.

"It's complicated"
