** Jamie's POV **

The lady at the gate scanned my plane ticket and handed it back to me. I looked ahead to see Danny standing in the tunnel, waiting for me, with his bag draped over his shoulder. I moved forward as he held his hand out.

I couldn't help but let my heart melt as we made our ways toward the plane, his hand holding mine tightly. "You and Jules agreed to switch seats, right," he asked, this brown eyes looking back at me full of content.

I nodded. "Yes, Danny, you're stuck with me next to you for the next five hours," I told him with a playful eye roll.

His hand gripped mine a little tighter as he furrowed his eyebrows. "Why do you make it sound like its a bad thing, Jamie? I wanna be stuck with you way longer than five hours," he said, a slight pout making its way to his face.

We got to our seats, and he began to slide to the window seat. "Why do you get the window seat," I asked, my eyes wide. That was always my spot on planes.

He crashed down into the seat and smiled at me. "Because then I can have a beautiful view on both sides of me," he said, pulling me down into the seat next to him.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine. But I get to sit there for when we land," I said as I crossed my arms. "You know how much I love the window seat."

He pushed the arm of the chair up, and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, pulling me into him so my face was against his chest. I brought an arm up and draped it over his stomach, giving him an awkward side hug. "I love you," he whispered. "Thank you for taking me back... I'm still sorry I fucked up."

I took in his scent and nodded into his chest. "I'm sorry for not listening," I whispered as I pulled back and looked up to meet his eyes. "I was just bitter. I threw my walls up before I could even think about your side of things."

He shook his head. "It's fine... We're together now, now we know how important communication is," he replied. "Love defies all."

I nodded... He was right...

*** Danny's POV ***

"Hey, Jame," I said as I looked away from the window and toward her, about to tell her about the rocky mountains below us. I quickly realized she was fast asleep in the seat, mouth slightly dropped open. She was so beautiful when she was asleep. I placed a hand on her knee and squeezed it. "Sleep tight, babe."

I looked back out the window, the United States was so beautiful. "Hey Dola," Julian's hushed voice said from in front of me, causing me to look up.

He was kneeling on his seat, leaning over it, and looking down at me with content blue eyes. "What's up, man," I asked. A smile quickly made its way to his face.

"She's a little tired from last night, huh," he asked, his smile turning into a smirk. "You two are all good, right?"

I smiled back and nodded. "Yeah, Jules... Yeah we are..." I couldn't help but blush... I finally had the love of my life back, and it felt so good.

"So what exactly happened outside of the club? Pen refuses to tell me," he replied with an eyeroll. "I mean, I'm glad you two are back together, but how'd you do it man? Pen thought you two were done for good."

I couldn't help but smile from ear to ear...

*** Flashback ***

"Jamie! Wait up!" I called after her as I began moving in the direction she took off in.

"I have to go," she called back, picking her pace up.

It was like a repeat of that rainy night in November, her stomping on the sidewalk, away from me. This couldn't happen again. It couldn't. I needed to talk to her, needed her to listen. Tears began to pull from my eyes, she couldn't get away again. I stopped dead in my track and sucked in a breath. "Will you just listen to me god damn it!?!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
