In honor of Danny's birthday, I thought I'd update today. Next update will be Thursday.
Happy Birthday Danny!!!!

"Now, I will just warn you," Gisele said as we pulled up to their house. "The boys are extremely rowdy lately and Vivi will try to be your best friend the minute you walk through the door. She remembers you a bit from the wedding, but she was so excited to see Jules so dressed up that she didn't really pay attention to anything else." She chuckled a bit and shook her head.
I smiled a bit. "That's quite alright. And I'm sure the boys can't be any rowdier than Jules and Danny when they're playing Madden. They get so heated that I think they're actually playing football sometimes," I replied as I rolled my eyes and shook my head.
Gisele shook her head. "This is a completely different type of rowdy. There's also a lot of complaining," Gisele told me. "So just be ready." She pulled into the garage and pressed the button to close it as she turned the car off.
"Alright," I mumbled as I slipped out of the car and waited for Gisele to walk around so I could follow her into the house.
This was my first time at the Brady house and quite truthfully, I was in awe. It was such a big, yet beautiful home that was beautifully decorated and felt homey despite being so big. "Darlings! We're home!" Gisele called out as she dropped her purse on one of the countertops in the kitchen.
"Mommy!" Vivi screamed as she came stumbling into the kitchen. She had a barbie in one hand and a large smile on her face. When she saw me there, her eyes got big. "JamJam! You're here!"
My eyes went wide at her being much more excited about me than her own mom. "Hey Vivi!" I greeted, although it came out as more of a question than a greeting. I don't think anyone had ever been so excited to see me.
"JamJam! I wanna show you what I made daddy for Christmas!" It was like she was speaking a million words a minute. She moved forward and grabbed my hand and began to pull me along with her.
I looked back at Gisele who was giggling at me. She totally knew I was going to get swept away, and I should've taken more understanding to her warning. When we got into the room where she was working on her arts and crafts, I was surprised to see a middle aged blonde woman sitting there. "Hey Vivian! Who is your friend?" She asked with a smile.
"This is Jamie! My Uncle Danny's girlfriend! She went shopping with Mommy," Vivian said as she plopped down at her spot at the table full of glitter, colored paper, funky shaped scissors, markers, and glue. She put her Barbie down so she was sitting on the table.
"Hi." I gave the woman a small, yet awkward, wave. "I'm Jamie."
"I'm Susanne. Are you two okay in here while I go talk to Gisele?" She asked as she stood from her spot at the table.
I nodded. "Yeah, I got her." I replied as I moved to sit down next to Vivian. "What did you make your dad?" I smiled at her as I folded my hands on the table in front of me.
Vivian began flipping through all the "completed projects" she had on her left hand side. "I made a whole bunch of things! Even something for the baby," she exclaimed, a smile still on her face. She pulled out a blue piece of paper that was in the shape of a heart and covered in red glitter. "Do you think the baby will like it?"
My eyes went wide. "Oh yeah! The baby will love it! I'm sure he'll thank you as soon as he is able to!" I told her with a smile as I leaned in a bit closer to study it. "Oh! It even says 'Love Vivi!" There was glitter all over it, but it didn't look like a scattered kinda messy.
"Yay! And this is the one I made for Daddy! It has some of his favorite things on it," she told me, bouncing with excitement. She held it up and the smile on her face got even bigger. It was shaped like a football, had a golf club drawn on it, and a number 12 in white glitter on it.
"Oh! I bet he is going to love that! And you said you were going to give it to him for Christmas?" I questioned as I looked back up to her. Excitement was swimming in her eyes-- I couldn't help but giggle.
"Yeah! I think I'm going to not wrap it, though. I think just giving it to him will make him happy. And then it won't be ripped when he's unwrapping it," she responded. A look of horror took over her face at the thought of it being torn.
I stifled a laugh and nodded. "That may be a good idea," I told her. Before I could say another word, Vivian's eyes got big as she looked behind me. "Mommy! Look what I made daddy!" She held up her little project.
When I turned, Gisele was standing there, leaning up against the door frame with a big smile on her face. "Wow, I think he's going to love it!" She told Vivian. "Now are you okay in here for a few minutes? Jame and I have to go get the things from the car and start up lunch."
"Can we have MacNCheese? JamJam is here so I think you should make it," Vivan told Giesle. I swear she was going to bounce through the roof of the house-- she was full of excitement.
Gisele sat there thinking for a second before finally letting out a sigh. "I suppose so. But you have to make sure you eat your broccoli at dinner!"
"I will! I promise!"

Gisele and I sat down in the living room with all the gifts we'd gotten for our guys as Benny and Jack ran around outside. "I think Danny will love that second gift you got him," Gisele said as she looked down at it. "And I'm surprised you hadn't thought of it any earlier."
I shrugged. "I don't know how I didn't either. I think that OT that I worked last week should cover most of it," I replied. I looked at the box with satisfaction. Without a doubt he was going to like it much more than the shoes I bought— and it almost went with his birthday gift.
"I'm still shipping them for you, right?" Gisele asked as she pulled out some of the wrapping paper that they had in a closet.
"Yes," I nodded as I reached over for a roll of paper. "I really appreciate you doing it. Especially since you can get a discount and I can't fly with all of the gifts." I was truly thankful for her offering to send the gifts-- I wasn't made of money.
"It's not a problem, Jame." She responded. Just as she opened her mouth to say something, she was cut off by Vivian running into the room.
"Jamie! I made you one! I hope you like it!" She exclaimed as she thrusted a pink piece of paper toward me with some smaller blue and red glitter hearts and a bigger purple heart on it.
"Oh! Thank you so much, sweetie," I thanked as I gave her a small hug. "It's great!"
"I'm glad you like it! The blue hearts are Uncle Danny's love and the red is yours! And they combined to make purple! Cuz you make Uncle Danny so happy!"
My eyes went wide as my heart skipped a beat. She put so much thought into it. It was so sweet of her. "Awe. That's so sweet of you! Thank you." I said again.
"You're welcome! I'm going to go make something for LuLu!" She said with a big smile and ran off toward her arts and crafts room.
I looked down at the piece of paper as my heart swelled.
"You're so good with her," Gisele said, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Huh?" I asked looking up to her. She had a large smile on her face. I put the paper down and let out a huff.
"You're good with her. You must love being around kids. I see the passion," she said as she studied me contently.
"Oh..." I let out a sigh and shook my head. "Maybe one day... But not for a long while."
"Danny wants kids, though, doesn't he?" She questioned as she put down the scissors she was holding. "He must. He's amazing with the kids and he's so excited for Jules and Pen's baby boy. And you're good with them too... You two would be amazing parents."
I nodded, but let out a sigh. "He does. If he could, he'd have kids right here right now," I told her. "I'm just not at that point right now. I'm going back to school next month."
Gisele nodded. "I know where you're coming from. It will happen when the time is right." She sounded so sure-- and she's Gisele... So she had to be right.
