Can't Get Enough | Danny Amendola

Chapter 52

Gisele, the kids, and I stormed into the field.It was only us because Pen, Amelia, and Nick decided to make a small pit stop to go to the bathroom. They wanted the halls to clear a bit before Pen would be walking around.

After all, the Fans were going crazy... They won! The boys won the fucking Super Bowl! As we made our way onto the field, the bright lights seemed to get brighter.

"Where's Daddy?" Vivian asked as she tugged on Gisele's hand. "I wanna see him!"

"We'll be seeing him any second, baby! He's around here somewhere," Gisele told her. We began looking around but stopped dead in our tracks when Vivian let out a loud screech.

"There's uncle Danny!" She exclaimed. She began jumping up and down as she pointed to our right.

And she was completely correct. I looked to Gisele real quick, then tore off toward Danny, who was talking to Ryan Allen. As soon as I got closer I called for him.

"Danny!" I called. He instantly turned toward me with the biggest smile on his face.

"Jamie!" He opened his arms as I ran into them. His arms closed around me and he held me tighter than ever. "Oh babe! It's so great to see you!"

I pulled away just enough to look into his eyes. "Congrats!" I moved my hands up to cup his cheeks. "I'm so proud of you!" I smashed my lips into his. "You won! You had a touchdown! Danny, I'm so fucking proud!" Tears began pulling from my eyes as I slammed my lips into his again.

"I love you," He replied as he brought a hand up and carded it through my hair. "I'm so glad you're here! This means the world to me!"

"I wouldn't miss it!" I told him as I wrapped my arms around him again. He was sweaty, and didn't smell the greatest, but I didn't care.

"Guys! You can have all the sex you want tonight at the hotel. But you're on the field right now! It's nasty to do that in front of other people!"

Danny and I pulled from each other and looked toward the person who had just said it.

"Awe Jules," Danny said as we looked toward Julian. We met his pair of mischievous, but somehow jealous eyes. "You poor baby. Will you survive? Or are you too scarred from our love?"

Julian chuckled as he shook his head at us. "You two really were made for each other," he told us. He rolled his eyes with a smirk still on his face.

I completely pulled away from Danny and moved up to Jules. I knew he was bummed that Pen couldn't make it, but her coming out on the field soon would be well worth it. "Congrats, Jules!" I told him as I wrapped him in a hug. "You played so well!"

"Thanks Jamie." He whispered, I could hear the disappointment in his voice as we pulled from each other.

"Julian! Julian! Can we get you over there for an interview?!" An obnoxious reporter budded in.

Jules pursed his lips as he looked toward us and shot the reporter as charming smile. "Of course, Bubs! I'll be right there!" He nodded toward us, then followed after her.

I turned back to Danny with a big smile on my face. "Wait until he gets his surprise," I said as we watched him run off after the reporter.

Danny's brown eyes looked back to me as confusion swam across his face. "What surprise?" He questioned. He gripped my hand tighter. His eyebrows furrowed as a big smile grew on my face.

"Well, Penny came to the game today," I told him in almost a whisper. It was now my turn to grip his hand extremely hard.

You could practically see the gears starting to turn in his head before his brown eyes went wide and his jaw kinda dropped. "Wait... You mean... She's here?! She came to the Super Bowl?" Danny sputtered out.

I bit my lip and nodded, trying today stop from smiling so much. "She wanted to surprise Jules!"

"But what about the baby! Isn't the little guy at risk? Large crowds of people could cause stress on her! How'd you let her come and not tell me?! I would've checked up on her! To make sure everything would be set for her!" He was ranting, like he always did when he was in shock.

I rolled my eyes and placed a hand on his chest. "I didn't know she was coming. She was just sitting in the suite when we got here today," I told him with a giggle. "And she's not down here yet because she wanted it to clear out a bit first."

A small look of relief took over his face, but before he could say anything, he was cut off by the announcement that the trophy ceremony would be starting. The two of us moved over to the crowd where we were met by Gronk.

"Hey Gronk! Congrats!" I exclaimed as I gave him a tight hug. When I pulled away, I looked around.

"Where is Amelia?" I questioned. I looked up to meet his confused brown eyes.

"What do you mean?" He asked and let out a small chuckle. "She stayed back home with Penny."

It took me a second before something clicked. No Amelia... No Penny... And I certainly hadn't seen Jules... "She and Penny came today! I'll check my phone. See if I can get ahold of one of them."

I pulled my phone from my pocket and nearly dropped it when I saw all the notifications. There were at least 20 from Nick, 20 from Amelia, and 50 from Penny.

I nearly shut my pants when I read the last message sent by Amelia.

Amelia 10:38
Pen is having the baby. We just got to the hospital. Call me ASAP.

"Holy shit," I said aloud. I looked up at the two boys with my jaw dropped. "We gotta get out of here! Penny is having the baby! They're enroute to the hospital right now!"

Danny almost instantly went as white as a ghost as he grabbed ahold of my wrist for some stability. "You... You mean the little man is arriving!?"

A smile was now on my face as I nodded. 

"Oh my god! I can't be late for the birth of my godson!" Danny nearly screamed as he began making his way toward the locker room, dragging me with him. "Why wasn't I the first to find out!? Jules didn't tell me!"

I face palmed. "Babe you didn't have your phone."
