I was so hyped about Packers Game Day I almost forgot to post! Hope y'all enjoy! Go Pack Go!

** Danny's POV **

I leaned back into the seat on the bus and stared down at my phone-- Waiting... Waiting for any sign of Jamie. We were officially in Pittsburgh and I had yet to hear from Jamie. It was beginning to worry me. I hated the fact that I didn't see her in the morning.

"Dola," Julian said, pulling me out of my thoughts. "You still with us, man? You look like you're in a different world right now."

I sucked in a long breath and looked up to Julian. "Yeah," I trailed off. "I'm fine." I shook my head, trying to shake the thought. His concerned blue eyes were looking at me. I tore my gaze from him and back to my black phone screen.

"You still don't have anything from Jamie," he asked quietly. I shook my head as I ran a hand through my hair. "I-I can call Penny and have her talk to Jamie if you want."

I looked back up to him with wide eyes and shook my head. "No! Don't... The last thing I want is for her to be mad at me for having you guys involved," I told him. "She always feels so bad for making others help with her own situations."

Julian furrowed his eyebrows and looked back at me with a confused look. "What'd you do to the poor girl that it's got her ignoring you, Dola," Julian questioned. "Did you give Clay more attention than her last night or something?"

"Of course not!" I shot back and rolled my eyes. "I-I don't know... I made dinner last night, we talked about the game today, we watched some TV, we took Clay out for a walk, we talked a bit about hopefully getting some gifts for your little guy... Then we agreed to go to bed... She took Clay out while I went to bed... She was taking too long and I fell asleep before she got back!"

"Well maybe that's it! I don't know why she'd ignore you for falling asleep before she got back... But maybe that's it! I know Pen will get mad at the littlest things sometimes," Julian informed. "I'd just say shake it and the two of you can talk about it tomorrow when we get back to town. Meanwhile... How about we just focus on the game? We are about five minutes from the stadium!"

I sighed, but nodded. "You're right man. I-I'll just talk to her tomorrow. Hopefully we can resolve everything," I mumbled as I shoved my phone into my duffle bag.

"Atta boy Dola," Julian said with a big smile as he patted my shoulder. "We're gonna pull out one hell of a W tonight!"

I slowly nodded and shot him a fake smile. "Yeah, man, we are." I looked out the window and prayed that Jamie was acting the way she did because of me falling asleep early.

I managed to get through most of my pregame routines without being distracted by Jamie, or lack thereof. We came in for warm ups, got fully dressed, and waited around until it was finally time to make our appearance on the field.

However, first, I had to check my phone one last time. I stood up, grabbed my phone from my duffle bag, and turned it off of airplane mode. My heart was pumping as I stared down at the blank screen. Nothing was going to show up... Nothing was going to show up... I tore my attention away from it to look around-- No one was watching me...

My phone buzzed in my hand... I nearly dropped my phone, hitting the lock button before I could see what the notification was. With a deep breath I hit it again, and over the photo of Jamie and I in Hawaii that was my lock screen, there was a text from Jamie.

I was ready to throw up. Finally. She finally texted me.

Didn't you mean to send this text to Olivia?

My eyes went wide. Wait what? What was I missing?! What did I do? I quickly unlocked my phone and began to quickly type a reply.

"Dola! It's time to head out," Julian's voice distracted me. I looked up to see him. His game face on. "Whatever it is can wait!"

I glanced back down at my phone and let out a sigh. The screen went black... I let out a huff and stuffed it back into my bag. Hopefully it could wait.

He patted me on the shoulder and gave me a small smile. "You ready dude? We're about to kick some Steeler ass! Right?" He practically yelled at me.

"Yeah," I said quietly, giving him a small nod.

"What's that Dola? I can't hear you!" He shouted back. Both of his hands were on my shoulder, shaking me. His crazy blue eyes were looking back at me.

"Fuck yeah!" I yelled, jumping a bit.

"That's the spirit! Lets fucking goooo!"

** Julian's POV **

Tom hiked the ball, I cut left as Dola cut right. I was being covered perfectly, but Dola? He wasn't. He cut right and shook his defender lose. Tommy saw him, threw the ball, the perfect spiral, right to Danny.

I started running with him. Blocked one... Blocked two... Then Rob was running with me, blocking as well. Danny was only an inch or two from the white line, and five yards out from the game winning TD.

As he leapt to break the plane for the TD... It was like it happened in slow motion. A wave of black and yellow came by, hit Danny, caused the football to go loose, then Danny went flying off to the sidelines... Right into a camera man.

Gronk moved to recover the ball... And I? The next thing I knew was I was standing over Danny, looking down at him. His eyes were wide, mouth hung open, and breathing extremely heavy. He was in pain, the little sounds coming out of his mouth gave it away.

"Danny," I asked, falling to my knees. I grabbed his hand. "D-Do you need a medic?" His grip on my hand went deadly tight.

I turned around and motioned for the medical staff to come. They were at my side, pushing me away from him in seconds.

My heart hurt. That was my best friend.

All of the sudden, Gronk was up next to me, his arm draped over my shoulder. "He'll be alright, man," was all he said as we watched the team get Danny to his feet. "He's Dola. He'll be fine."!

Danny looked to be in a great deal of pain. Oh god.
