Andromeda

Napamulat ako sa sinabi ni Colt. Nawala ang antok na nararamdam ko. Meanwhile my Jacobi remained calm. He even rested his back on the chair, holding me in his arms.

Hinayaan niya akong bumangon at umupo sa tabi niya. I look at Colt, hiding the the amusement on his eyes.  Jacobi crossed his arms on his chest.

"Hunting who?" Tanong niya kay Colt. I heard sarcastic on his tone.

Diba ako yun? Teka ako nga ba? Baka hindi ako iyon! O baka ako nga yon, nagloloko na naman siya?

Tumingin ako kay Colt. He looked confused at first then he smiled.

"Uh babae..."

Malamang her nga diba?!

"Too innocent, naive and soft sabi ng hari," an evil smile formed into his lips before he continued.
"Mahilig sa cartoons sabi ng hari, mabango sabi ng hari, tempting sabi ng ha--"

Lumipad sa ere ang remote na agad namang nasalo ni Colt. Tumawa siya sa naging reaction ng kaibigan. Ganon ba siya magkwento sa akin. Palakwento pala siya kay Colt.

I pursed my lips to hide my smile.

Seems like someone got backfired. Magbibiro na nga lang palpak pa!

Pero paano ako nakakasigurong ako nga iyon? Malay mo may babae pala ito. He's a king, all vampire woman would flock to him and beg to his feet. He can do whatever he wants, a pleasure night, every night... with different woman. Why not? He's gorgeous after all. Even humans would beg to him. My heart flinched at that thought.

"Paano nangyari yun?" Jacobi's calmed yet serious tone. Nilapag ni Colt ang remote sa mesa.

"I think someone helped them.."

Jacobi nodded.

"I'll take care of it. You should go."

"Yes, I think so too, goodbye Elly." He smiled at me, and I smiled back.

"Your highness," he bowed and he use his vampire speed.

I am happy for Jacobi for having a loyal bestfriend on his life. I hoped I have that too, noon kahit simpleng interaksyon lang sa mga taong nakapaligid sa akin ay masaya na ako. I wished for a best friend, it is like a compensation for a family that I lost.

Pero paano mo nga masasabi, life is cruel. Hindi lahat nakukuha. Kung gusto mong magkaroon ng kaibigang totoo, magpakatotoo ka. Pero kahit naman siguro magpakatotoo ka kung ayaw talaga nila sayo, kung hindi ka talaga nababagay sa kahon nila. Some people will only love you as long as you fit in their box. Don't be dissapointed. Your life is your responsibility, it means standing alone.

Nang mawala na si Colt ay ako naman ang nagtanong.

"Anong apelyido ni Colt at Vennise?"

Sa tinagal tagal ko rito ngayon ko lang naitanong. He stared at me first. Hinawi niya ang mga nakaharang na buhok sa aking mukha at inipit yun sa aking tenga.

"Hmmm Colt Evans Henderson,"

Woah! May second name pala siya. Henderson. Sounds foreign.

"And the human is Andromeda Vennise Mandela, her father is a politician. Ewan ko kung saan napulot ni Colt."

At second name naman kay Vennise and he gave me a detail, Vennise's father is a politician. Pinaghahanap siguro siya? Mandela last name is indeed famous, naririnig ko ito sa T.V at sa radyo. I think senator Im not sure about the position, hindi kasi ako gaanong nanonood ng balita. Sing gaan siguro ng bulak ang buhay niya. Sayang at hindi ko nga lang siya nabalitaan. Ilang taon na nga ba siya? She look 24 years old for me.
