Chapter 49 Michelle

Michelle's P.O.V.

I was so happy to walk through the door to Kendra's house and see a blond haired version of Jenna sitting on the couch, sipping some tea.

I could tell they both were crying.

"Kendra...take Melody" i said through cliched teeth trying to hold in my scream. "why?" she said almost scarred "because i need to jump up and down and scream" i said through my teeth. Kendra quickly jumped up and took Mel from me.

As soon as i couldn't feel her body heat i let it all out. i screamed and jumped up and down like crazy.

Lilly grabbed my hand and pulled me to a stop "Mom! she's sleeping!" she whisper yelled, pointing towards a little, brown haired girl culled up on the couch beside Jenna.

"This is my daughter...River" Jenna explained, petting the little person beside her. "she's precious" i said walking towards her and brushing some hair away from her face so i could get a better look at her "oh my god! she looks like-" Jenna cut me off

"Louis" it came out as more of a question. i sent her a smile, understanding wheat she meant and that made me even more happier.

"And who is this?!" Jenna asked walking over to Kendra who was holding Mel "Melody" i stood proud for my new addition to the family. "and you say River is precious?" she laughed looking down at my daughter. i smile with pleasure.

Finally Jenna walked over and opened her arms "come here" she smiled and i ran into we arms. I instantly started crying and so did Jen. "i still can't believe it's you" i sobbed. "It is...and I'm here...and I'm never leaving again"she said stroking my head and when she was done her little speech she pushed my head back a bit and kissed my temple and then hugged me again.

Even though i had two other great friends i could spill my guts to I really just wanted to talk to Jenna. Besides i can't talk to Kendra about the "thing" and Tiana was gone for a really long time! Emma was just like my friend too but it was different...she was more like my super awesome niece.

We were pulled away by the boys storming up the steps

"MOM! LUKE WON'T GIVE ME BACK MY CAR!" Henry screamed "I had it first" Luke teased, waving the toy car in his brothers face. "It's mine!" Henry yelled reaching for the toy but Luke pulled it away.

Kendra was about to say something but Lilly cut her off "BOYS!" she screamed and their heads jerked in her direction "you can't yell like that! River is sleeping!" She yelled

"Kids why don't you go play together...maybe Lilly can keep you boys in order" Kendra suggested. Lilly nodded solemnly and lead the boys down stairs.

"I don't remember Lilly being like that!" Jenna laughed "trust me...this is new to all other us" i said sitting back down "since Mel came she has just had this new...glow to her...like she has a purpose" i said looking down at my lap trying to find words.

There was silence

"Do you feel like that?!" Jenna asked sitting next to me "what?!" i asked, confused "do you feel you have a purpose?" Jenna asked. i thought for a moment "with Niall gone...it just doesn't feel like much of a life" i said still looking down at my lap

Through this whole time Kendra sat at the other end of the couch, holding Melody and tearing up. she couldn't talk because she couldn't really relate. i mean...no one really knows how she feels about Harry and Liam has a girlfriend. it just hurt that she couldn't talk to us about this stuff because our whole lives Jenna, Kendra and I knew everything about each other but, we've grown apart. and that was the worst feeling in the world.
