The Most Beautiful Day of Our Lives
Part 4

I looked at the others again. They were fooling around, laughing and chatting. I couldn't believe my eyes. We were finally all together again. After all the suffering and trials we'd found each other again. I'd wanted this so desperately. It felt like a dream come true.

But I felt on edge because I still had one more thing to confess. I wasn't brave enough and was still hesitant. I couldn't run away from it all anymore though. Unless I told them, I wouldn't be able to look them again.

When dinner was almost over I told everyone I had something to say. They didn't pay much attention. Only Taehyung looked at me. I remembered a few days ago he came to me and asked about a dream he'd been having.

"You know what it means right?" He asked, desperate for an answer.

I acted like I had no idea what he was saying.

"How would I know, Taehyung? It was just a dream."

Taehyung wasn't very happy after that. It wasn't a complete lie though. I had no idea why Taehyung kept having those dreams.

But I did understand how brutal it was. That's exactly why I couldn't tell him the truth. All the more so because I knew what he was thinking.

He didn't need to know that his dreams were real. Him killing his father- it really happened. Repetitively. No ones deserves to live life knowing such things. I would never tell him the truth even if it hurt our friendship.

I averted my eyes, breaking eye contact with Taehyung. I took a deep breath and spoke up again, my voice more steady this time around.

"I have something to tell you."

Namjoon and Hoseok stared at me, the others quieting down.

"I should've told you guys this a long time ago. When we were in high school..."

Taehyung interrupted me.

"When we were in high school? When you ratted on us to the school principal? Or when Yoongi got kicked out of school because of you? Which one are you talking about?" Taehyung finished, his tone laced with criticism.

"Taehyung," Namjoon warned, placing a hand on Taehyung's shoulder.

Taehyung shook his hand off.

"That was all your doing." He said, his voice low, his eyes fixed on me.

Everyone was silent. They were caught off guard by Taehyung's attitude.

I looked at Yoongi. Taehyung was right. Yoongi was expelled from school because of me.

"I'm sorry," I mumbled with my head bent low.

Taehyung kept on speaking.
