I managed to get the bouquet of Smeraldo flowers at the last minute. I was already late to the festival I was going to meet her at.
Fortunately, the delivery truck came before she did. The owner was driving the truck. The store I'd found them at was called Flower Smeraldo.
"Sorry. The fireworks festival held me up," the owner apologized. "There was a lot of traffic."
As the truck drove away, I called him back, noticing that the card I'd wanted wasn't there.
"Ahh. I'll quickly go get them."
And with that said, he made a u-turn and drove off.
Just then, I spotted her walking towards me at the intersection in the far distance.
