The Direction Where the Sun Rises
Part 5I switched on the light and looked at the flier someone put on my door. My eyes caught the words "demolition" and "redevelopment". Looks like someone wanted to redevelop this area again. People were always talking about finally doing up this area, getting rid of all these containers by the railway, the squatter camps...
I took the flier down, crumpled it into a ball and threw it in the trash. There was always talk about redevelopment and it never really happened. It'd revive attention for a while and then die down.
I put down my bag and lay on the floor. It was still hot in the container despite the sun having set a while ago. Ever time I went to see Jungkook, I came here for the night afterwards. It was exhausting. My nose bled frequently back then. I always came here instead of the tiny back room of the gas station.
No one else came here after me. Maybe no one else ever would.
All those who meet, must part after all. It could've been our turn. But if someone felt the need for "us" to still be together...whoever needed that, I wanted to be able to send them a sign that I'd heard them. I wanted to let them know that this place, our hideout, was still here, waiting for them whenever they wanted to come back.
