"I thought getting out of Lima would solve all of my problems. That maybe going to college would give me some sort of direction of where I wanted to go. The only thing being in Louisville has given me is a newfound hatred for the university and more importantly its people," Santana said in a voice over as she's looking around the University of Louisville in her cheerleading uniform disgusted as she rolls her eyes. "I mean seriously, everyone said Lima was a hicktown, oh trust me you don't know the definition of hick until you've been to Kentucky," Santana said in a voice over as country music is heavily playing in the background as many of the students are square dancing through the halls, much to Santana's chagrin. "I should've known this place was a wasteland. Why else would their only focus be football and chicken of all things?" Santana said disgusted in her voice over as she makes her way to cheer practice "Still, at least I got a full ride and get to continue doing what I love, cheerleading. Plus I'm only a few hours away from Britt so I'll get to visit her on weekends." Santana gets to cheer practice which is the highlight of her day as she is working hard with the squad.

"The only thing that sucks is my schedule has been insane since starting college. Which means I've been spending less and less time with Brittany which is something I hate," Santana said in a voice over as we see her hard at work on her assignments as well as getting ready to cheer at multiple games, seeing that she has many missed calls from Brittany. "Whoever said distance makes the heart grow fonder has never been in a long distance relationship. As much as I enjoy talking to Brittany whenever I can, I can't help but feel so distant from her since I left her behind," Santana said in a voice over as she looks through old photos of her and Brittany, missing the times they were together and feeling like spending 4 years apart might be what will break them up. "Don't get me wrong, I love being on my own for the first time, I just wish I had my best friend to share it with instead of these hillbilly randos who want you to tell them your life story within the first 5 minutes of meeting them," Santana said annoyed as the friendly students eagerly talk to Santana who just looks at them like they're crazy. Once they leave Santana looks through Brittany's instagram longing for them to be together once again instead of always being apart. "Still, she seems happy back in Lima everytime I talk to her, so I don't want to ruin it for her going on and on about how much I miss her and wish she was here with me, so I do what I always did. Fake a smile and pretend that everything's alright when that's the last thing I feel is alright."

Back at Yale, Quinn enters her psychology class as a young looking man dressed to the nines' attention is drawn to her. Quinn at first doesn't seem to notice but when she looks up a few times and the man is still looking at her, she realizes yet another guy is infatuated with her, the way it used to be. She smiles back at him flirtatiously as the guy approaches her. "Hello there, I'm Professor Bloom, you must be my first student," he said as Quinn released she was flirting with her teacher. "Professor...oh...I'm sorry I didn't think...you looked so young," Quinn said awkwardly trying to backtrack as the professor laughed. "I get that all the time. Don't worry about it," Professor Bloom winked "And what's your name?" "Quinn...Quinn Fabray," Quinn said clearing her throat shocked that the professor was still somewhat flirting with her. "Quinn, what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl," Professor Bloom said to her as Quinn could feel her face flushing. "Thank you," Quinn said simply looking down trying not to catch feelings for her teacher. "Of course," the Professor winked as he headed to the front of the room "I'm looking forward to working closely with you this semester Miss Fabray." Quinn nodded but wondered what she had gotten herself into. No student-teacher relationship that she had ever heard of worked out, and worst of all, she didn't think Professor Bloom would be giving up anytime soon, so she knew she had to play her cards right or risk losing everything she had worked so hard to attain.

Cut to the Lima Bean where Blaine and Brittany are seated at a table. "So, how's Santana?" Blaine asked. "She's good; she's just really busy with cheerleading practice and it's hard making out over Skype. You can't really scissor a Webcam," Brittany frowned as Blaine raised an eyebrow at her. "Here's an extra hot soy latte and a no-chocolate," Finn said as he gave Blaine and Brittany their drinks. "Merci," Brittany grinned. "I can't wait till Friday," Finn grinned. "Why?" Blaine asked. "Glee Club auditions," Finn said simply. "That sounds like fun," Brittany said simply. "Pretty nice," Blaine said enthusiastically. "Is it depressing that I'm more excited about it than either of you?" Finn asked. "Yeah," Brittany said as Blaine hesitated "Just a little bit." Finn sighed, knowing they had a point. He was quickly called over by the new bitchy cheerleader Kitty as Brittany sighed solemnly. "Everything okay Britt?" Blaine asked her concerned. "Totally," Brittany said lying and faking a smile. "You just seem awfully sad about Santana," Blaine offered. "Well Blaine Warbler I just miss her," Brittany said honestly as Blaine nodded. "I get it. I mean I feel the same way about Kurt," Blaine said somewhat solemnly "It just seems like he's so busy with NYADA that he hardly has time for me." "Same goes for Santana with the University of Louisville. I mean I thought her being there would help her think of me, especially since I got into Purdue," Brittany said as Blaine looked confused. "The college?" he asked. "No. The chicken factory," Brittany said simply as Blaine seemed to get it. "Well I'm sure she misses you too Britt," Blaine tried assure Brittany who didn't seem so sure as the two waved goodbye to Finn, leaving the Lima Bean behind, hoping auditions for the Glee Club would go over better than the state they felt their lives were in at the current moment.
