Cut to Sue's office where Santana is seated before her. "What is with you Glee Club ex-pats? Don't any of you have jobs? You have to have some source of income so you can pay the staff of scientists who service your teleporters that you all clearly own, since you're constantly showing up here," Sue said annoyed. "I have a light schedule this semester," Santana shrugged as Sue narrowed her eyes at Santana. "Do you not remember who got you that scholarship to Louisville? Your coach is sending me weekly reports, and you dropped out a month ago," Sue said in disbelief that Santana would try to lie to her. "I'm sorry. I hated it there. Everyone thought that I was being a bitch when all I was doing was being brutally honest with people," Santana sighed "Look, please don't tell my mom." "Oh, I can't. I don't speak Spanish," Sue said as Santana made a face, her mother spoke perfect English. "Let's face facts. I need an heir apparent, and I need someone as mean as I am," Sue said honestly as Santana looked stunned. "Wait. So, are you offering me a job?" Santana asked in disbelief. "Finn Hudson took over the Glee Club. Why can't you take over my Cheerios?" Sue shrugged "Besides, you've always been my favorite." "This is an amazing offer. And with the money that my mom gave me for New York, I could buy a McMansion in Lima Heights. And plus, I'd be close to Brittany," Santana grinned a little too excited that she could have a chance after all to win Brittany back. "Well, why don't you let me know by the end of the week? I have Paula Abdul coming in to interview as a backup, and whenever I cancel too late with her, she tends to hit the pills," Sue said honestly as Santana thought about it. Maybe everything would actually work out for her in more ways than she could've expected.

Brittany had asked Santana to meet her in the auditorium which Santana eagerly did, thinking Brittany was going to get back with her. "I knew you'd come around eventually. I mean, Sam's most redeeming quality is that he can bore you to sleep and then you can use his lips as ginormous pillows," Santana smirked. "I'm not breaking up with Sam. I really like him. And he makes me feel really smart and think about things, like where air comes from, and how come in every movie about Jesus he dies at the end," Brittany said as Santana's face fell. "Well, look, I'm not expecting you to start dating me again. I just want you to aim higher," Santana shrugged. "But Sam's taller than you," Brittany said confused as Santana chuckled. "Not what I meant," Santana said shaking her head as Brittany took a deep breath. "I know that you dropped out of school," Brittany said honestly. "Well, I'm moving on up. Sue offered me a job to train to take over the Cheerios after she dies," Santana smiled a bit. "You can't do that," Brittany objected. "Why? I mean, it's not like I'd have to wait that long. I'm totally going to ricin her protein shakes in a couple years," Santana shrugged. "I think you need to be somewhere that's as big and as hot as you are. It's okay to follow your dreams," Brittany told Santana encouragingly. "No, Brittany, you you have no idea what it's like out there in the real world. No one gives a damn about you," Santana sighed. "Rachel found a new guy. And I hear Kurt did, too. Why shouldn't you get the chance to be around people who are like you, who appreciate you? Be a part of a community? Why can't you have a real girlfriend? But not a best friend 'cause that part's already taken," Brittany said honestly as Santana listened realizing Brittany had a lot of points as they hugged tightly. "You really are genius, Brittany," Santana smiled a bit. "Duh," Brittany shrugged. "And you're my best friend," Santana said honestly as she kissed Brittany one last time. "Sam and I are going to Breadstix tonight to pretend to be British. Do you want to come?" Brittany offered. "No, thanks. I think I'm going to hang around here a minute more," Santana said as Brittany nodded walking off as Santana knew she had to take Brittany's advice and head to New York singing the Alicia Keys hit 'Girl on Fire' as she left the stage.

As Santana sang onstage she realized she needed to say goodbye to Lima and start heading for her new life in New York. She walked off the subway and up to Rachel and Kurt's apartment as she then knocked on the door as she finished the song. Kurt opened the door surprised to see Santana there. "Santana. What are you doing here?" Kurt asked as Santana just walked into the apartment as Kurt and Rachel looked back at each other. "Moving in," Santana shrugged as Rachel and Kurt exchanged horrified looks realizing they might not have enough room for Santana and wondering if Santana was going to be there permanently or was this just another one of her schemes that would go wrong. Only time would tell.
