"Alright guys, up first with her song of redemption, here is Marley," Finn smiled a bit as some of the other reluctantly clapped for Marley, all but Unique, Ryder, and Jake who were cheering her on. "Guys, I know the loss is really on my shoulders and if anyone needs to redeem themselves, it's me," Marley sighed honestly as the New Directions seemed to look at her sympathetically. "I'm going to sing one of my favorite songs that's about never losing hope no matter how bad things seem," Marley smiled as she began to sing 'The Climb' by Miley Cyrus.
The New Directions seemed to smile as she performed forgiving her, all but Kitty who still didn't seem impressed with Marley at all. As Marley finished the New Directions applauded her. "Marley that was incredible, seriously," Finn said stunned by how great Marley was. "Really?" Marley smiled a bit nervously. "Yes really and this is exactly what I was hoping you guys would do with this assignment," Finn smiled as Marley felt more confident. "I'll admit it was a good performance but you can't seriously think one inspire-filled performances makes up for the fact that you lost us Sectionals," Kitty shot as Marley looked saddened wondering why Kitty was being so mean to her again. "She's doing all she can," Rory said speaking up for Marley. "Quiet Irish, no one asked you," Kitty shot back at him. "Rory's right, Marley is sorry for what happened and she picked a great song showing the struggles that lie ahead for us. I'd say brava," Harmony grinned clapping for Marley. "You would Gerber Baby," Kitty said rolling her eyes. "Kitty, why did you rejoin the club if all you're going to do is complain?" Tina shot at Kitty who just smirked at Jake. "I have my reasons," Kitty said flirtatiously as the bell then rang, indicating class was over.
There was a knock at Quinn's door later that night which Quinn answered. "Kitty?" she said surprised to see the young Cheerio at her door. "I didn't know where else to go," Kitty said emotionally as Quinn pulled her in close and hugged her tightly. "It's okay...come on in," Quinn told her seriously as Kitty entered her house as Quinn fixed her a cup of coffee. "What happened?" Quinn asked concerned as she sat beside Kitty on the couch. "Puck happened," Kitty sighed as she began to explain what happened that night.
Puck and Kitty are making out as Puck tries to make a move on her which Kitty doesn't take well to and pushes him away. "What the hell babe? I thought you wanted a little something from Puckasarus here," Puck said somewhat annoyed. "And I thought I did," Kitty said honestly as she sighed. "I'm just not ready to go all the way," Kitty sighed. "I think what you need is a little liquid courage," Puck smirked as he reached down and got a wine cooler and tried to hand it to Kitty. Kitty pushes it away. "I don't drink," Kitty said in a definite tone as Puck huffed. "You know you're really being a downer babe," Puck said as Kitty glared at him. "Well I'm sorry that you can't respect a girl who turns you down," Kitty said annoyed as she got up and smoothed her skirt. "If you're not going to give it up, there are plenty of girls who will take me for a ride. It's your loss," Puck shrugged as Kitty scoffed shaking her head. "Wow, you really are exactly how Quinn said you were," Kitty said in a somewhat upset tone "I really thought you were different but I guess not." She then got up to leave somewhat upset as Puck looked annoyed.
"Oh my God," Quinn said shaking her head clearly upset by what Kitty has just told her as she pulls her in for a hug. "I thought dating him would make me feel closer to being like you," Kitty said emotionally. "You shouldn't have gone there," Quinn told her seriously "I know you look up to me but making the same mistakes I did would only hurt you, especially with Puck." "I know that now," Kitty said wiping her eyes, "Listen to me. I'm going to talk to him and make sure he won't bother you again, okay?" Quinn assured her as Kitty nodded seeming grateful for Quinn's help as Quinn hugged her tightly. "You're going to be okay," Quinn whispered to Kitty who seemed to believe Quinn saying those words to her.
Cut to McKinley High School where Finn enters the choir room excitedly. "Guys...I have amazing news," Finn grinned. "Someone put the pep in his step this morning," Kitty said sarcastically. "The show choir board ruled on the Warblers and...I think you're going to want to see this," Finn said as the New Directions watched a news story about the Warblers. "A ringer from another school was found competing with the Warblers, stripping Dalton Academy of their Sectionals title and sending Lima's own McKinley High School Show Choir to Regionals and a chance to repeat as National Champions," Rod Remington said as the New Directions looked in shock. "We're back," Finn grinned as the New Directions cheered, excited that for once things had been ruled in their favor.
