Back to my shitty oneshots. Sorry 😕.

Third Person POV

Namjoon doesn't like Kim Seokjin. He thinks the boy is stuck up, and rude. Of course he's never talked to Seokjin, but he just assumes. Seokjin comes from a rich family. Aren't all rich people snobby and arrogant?

"Kim Namjoon will be partnered up with Kim Seokjin. Your subject will be love." The teacher says. Namjoon snaps his head up, shocked. He doesn't want to partner up with him. The subject is just as bad. He has to write a song, prepare a speech, and draw an image about love. Namjoon has never been in love, and he doesn't plan on falling anytime soon.

"You'll have all of this weekend to finish your project. Meet up with each other and work on it. This is worth half of your grade." The teacher says. Namjoon groans in annoyance, and places his head back onto the desk. Why does life hate him?

Seokjin walks over to Namjoon's chair, and sits beside him. "W-We could work at my house if you want. My parents will be there, of course but I'm sure they won't mind." Seokjin says, looking a bit shy.

"Whatever. After school." Namjoon scoffs. Seokjin looks away, hurt. He's had a huge crush on Namjoon for about a year now. But the intimidating man hates him for some reason.

After school, the two boys walk to Seokjin's house on the rich side of town. As soon as Seokjin opens the door, a small Pomeranian starts to bark.

"Yah, Tannie quiet down!" Seokjin grins. "Go get Tae."

The elder of the two leads Namjoon up to his bedroom. "I'm....sorry for the mess." Seokjin apologizes.

"It's fine." Namjoon huffs, placing his bag down. "I'll start on the song. Do you have any talent?"

"Um...I can sing? And draw. I'm not too good at singing." Seokjin blushes.

"Whatever. It'll be fine." Namjoon says. He grabs a pencil and notebook from his bag and starts to write.

"Seokjin!" Taehyung, his little brother bursts into the room. "Dad and Appa want to know what you want for dinner."

"Um...anything is fine. Maybe takeout? There's this noodle shop across town that's pretty good." Seokjin says. "Tell dad and Appa that I'll pay this time."

"Okay!" Taehyung leaves the room. Namjoon looks over at Seokjin, confused. Why would he be getting takeout from a restaurant in the poor part of town? And why wouldn't he want to use his dad's money?

"I know what you're thinking." Seokjin rolls his eyes as he basically reads Namjoon's thoughts. "Why am I ordering noodles from the poor part of town? Why am I not using my rich fathers money? I'm not some spoiled rich kid, who uses daddy's money to buy whatever he pleases. I work hard for my own money. And I enjoy the ramen from across town. The food on this side of town tastes like rubber. I'm not the stereotypical rich boy that everyone thinks I am."

"Oh..." Namjoon mumbles. He started to feel guilty about his accusations. He shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

"Relax." Seokjin grins. "Everyone makes the cliche assumptions. Hey, I'll have Dad and Appa order an extra bowl of noodles. You can stay and eat, while we work on the project."

"Thanks." Namjoon smiles slightly. He turns back to his journal. Seokjin grabs his sketch book, and starts to draw whatever comes to his mind.

"Whoa, you have talent." Namjoon's says, when his eyes land on Seokjin's drawing.

"Thanks

"Thanks....but it's not the best." Seokjin's face heats up. "Do you think it'll be good enough for our project?"

"I think it'll be perfect. Could you start on the speech, while I wrote the song?" Namjoon asks.

"Of course." Seokjin nods. He starts to write the speech in his sketchbook, beside the drawing.

"Seokjin, we're back with the- Oh, I didn't know you had company." Appa says. "Well, here's your food. I think your guest should stay the night. It's way too late for anyone to be walking around."

"Okay....is that okay with you, Namjoon?" Seokjin asks.

"Hmm? Oh, yeah." He nods. "Sorry, I was writing."

"That's fine. Here's your food." Seokjin slides a bowl over to Namjoon. His Appa leaves the room, and allows the two boys to continue their work.

"I think that's enough work for tonight." Seokjin says as he stuffs his face with noodles.

"Thank gosh. My hand is killing me." Namjoon chuckles.

"We can both sleep on my bed." Seokjin shrugs. "You should just stay for the weekend. It'll be easier for us to work on the project."

"I'll have to tell my Eomma about it. I don't want her to worry." Namjoon says.

"You know....you aren't as cold as everyone thinks you are. It's like....you're using it as an act. I think you're very sweet, actually." Seokjin mumbles as they lie on his bed.

"It is an act." Joon admits. "I don't know why I feel so comfortable, telling you this."

"Hmm. Maybe you're supposed to feel comfortable around me. I don't know, I just had a stupid thought let's go to sleep."

*At School*

"Okay, Namjoon and Seokjin! You'll be presenting now!" The teacher smiles. The two boys walk to the front of the room, and begin their presentation. Seokjin hangs the picture up on the whiteboard, and starts to speak.

"Love. It's a very strong emotion. The word shouldn't be thrown around like it's garbage. My drawing basically says that love is love, no matter the gender. You can be two guys, or two girls and love each other. You may not even identify as any gender, and still fall in love with someone. Love shouldn't be limited to two genders." Seokjin says. He glances over at Namjoon, and smiles slightly. "You know you're in love with someone, when you get all happy and excited when they're around. Your palms will start to sweat, and your stomach will feel like it's doing gymnastics or something. You'll feel a strong desire to be around this person, and keep them safe."

"I think I'm in love." Namjoon interrupts Seokjin's speech. The class looks at Namjoon, extremely shocked. The cold hearted Kim Namjoon is in love? "The person is so sweet and caring. They always put others before themselves, and thy break typical rich kid stereotypes. I'm in love with Kim Seokjin."

Seokjin's eyes widen at the confession. Kim Namjoon is in love with him? His longtime crush, has actually fallen for him.

"I think....I was blinded by my so called 'hatred' toward you. There's a thin line between love and hate." Namjoon smiles his dimpled smile. "Will you accept my confession, Kim Seokjin?"

"Namjoon....of course I will!" Seokjin exclaims. He jumps into Namjoon's arms, and kisses his face repeatedly.

"Well. That was....a very interesting presentation. Thank you, boys." The teacher says. Seokjin takes his drawing and sits in his seat, Namjoon following close behind him. The two hold hands under the table, huge smiles on their faces.

Namjoon doesn't hate Seokjin. He never has. He's always been in love with the beautiful boy, and nothing will stop that love from growing.

It's trash 🙃.
