I walk back out into the living room, wide awake now. When I walked in, everyone who was still awake all turned their head and looked at me; like they were waiting for me to say something.
"what" i tell them all.
Brandon, Izzy, Edwin, and Neviah all just look at one another for a second.
"whatcha doing in there" Edwin said as he did his little chuckle laugh.
"nice try, but i was grabbing my keys" i smile proudly and hold up my keys, that had actually already been in my hoodie pocket.
"yeah i bet" Neviah says as everyone laughs. I just roll my eyes and say bye to everyone. I walk out the front door, to my car and just sit there.
What the hell just happened? I just were trying to tell Nick that it would just end bad if we ever tried to be anything more than friends...and i make out with him? I was mad at myself for giving in so easily. I needed that kiss had to be our last, for now. I wasn't ready to be another relationship, after Dylan. I didn't know if I could trust someone as much as i could before him. I was not ready to be in another relationship, and I just hoped Nick would respect that. I liked Nick, a lot, but I would be hurt again. He's a player. He's a player. I had to remind myself over and over again. He's a player.
I drove home, brushed my teeth, changed into a big t-shirt, and got into bed. I didn't feel like going on my phone, so i just put it on the charger and went to sleep. ———————- I wake up to my alarm going off for class. I take a quick shower and start to get ready for class. I knew I was going out to lunch with Maggie and Nessa after class, so I decided to dress up a little, since i'd want to take some pictures. After I curl my hair, do my natural make up and get dressed, i grab my keys and head out the door.

While walking from the parking lot to my first lecture room, I decided to post a video from a few days ago at dance. When i got into class, i put my phone up and didn't really get back on it until after class and I saw the comments on my video. (skip to 1:20 to see the girl in the vid i'm talking ab)

I finally get to the restaurant we were gonna get brunch at. I got there first so I ordered a table for 3. As I sat and waited for Maggie and Nessa, i get a text from...well you could guess who.
Nick👀: hey i wanted to make sure we're good, we're good right?
yeah for sure, why
Nick👀: nothin, you just left quick last night
i was just tired after the movie
Nick👀: oh , aight
Pretty basic conversation, but it kinda showed me he cared. After a minute or two, Maggie and Nessa showed up and we ordered our food. I was starving. I kinda saw it coming, but Maggie asked the golden question.
"so, y/n, what's going on wit you and Nick?" she asked with big eyes. I laughed a little and looked down. I had to be careful with my answer.
"nothings going on"' i tell her, looking up "cmon girl we all see it" Nessa says.
I do an awkward smile and shrug. They both give me a look like "be honest". I just start shaking my head no.
"ugh we know there is something, y/n" maggie says. "we we'll get it out of you somehow" nessa adds. "there isn't anything to get out" i laugh. "we're just friends, i don't want anything right now. Y'all forgetting i just got out of a pretty long relationship?" "yeah i got you" Maggie says.
This conversation makes me remember that all my followers don't know me and Dylan broke up. I've never been completely out in the open with my relationships online, but they still knew i was dating Dylan and what he looked like. I had already deleted the two or three posts with him in them. I had to let them know.
