Quinn and Beth stayed out for a while. Neither of them were in a rush to get home, especially since Judy was there.

When it started getting dark, Quinn took Beth home.

Quinn and Beth entered their apartment and found Judy and Noah.

Quinn furrowed her eyebrow. "Hey, when did you get back?"

"Twenty minutes ago." Noah guessed. "I texted you."

"My phone died." Quinn said as she closed the apartment door. She helped Beth with her coat before taking her own off. "Can Beth and I join you?"

"Yeah, of course." Noah nodded.

Quinn and Beth joined Judy and Noah in the living room.

"How was the tree?" Judy wondered.

"Beautiful." Quinn replied. "Right, Beth?"

Beth nodded. "It was so pretty! It had so many lights and it was so tall! Taller than Finny!"

Judy smiled. "It sounds like you had a lot of fun."

"Mommy took me for hot chocolate after." Beth added, equally as excited about that.

Quinn nodded. "It got really cold out there."

Beth nodded in agreement.

"Well, now you two can curl up under a blanket and relax." Judy said.

"Yeah, after dinner." Quinn replied as she looked at Noah and Beth. "How does pizza sound?"

"Perfect." Noah answered. "I'll go call it in."

When Noah excused himself to call for food, Quinn looked at her mother.

"Mom." Quinn blurted. "How long do you plan on staying with me and Beth?"

"I don't know, Quinny, why?" Judy asked.

"Well, we sort of have our own routine here." Quinn stated. "It's easier that way."

"When does Beth have to go back to the doctor?" Judy wondered.

"Tomorrow." Quinn answered. "Finn and I are taking her."

"What about Noah?" Judy questioned Quinn. "Or does he only take you away from her?"

"Don't be ridiculous, Mom. Noah's been really great." Quinn replied. "Instead of deciding you don't like him right away, why don't you give him a chance?"

Before Judy could respond, Noah returned.

"Hey, uh, pizza will be here in, like, twenty minutes." Noah announced. "I'm gonna grab some plates and napkins."
