"Hey, I'll see you later." Noah said as he kissed Quinn's cheek.

"What? Where are you going?" Quinn asked.

"I'm running an errand with Finn." Noah told Quinn. "I told you this morning."

Quinn nodded slowly.

"Are you okay? I can stay here." Noah said.

Quinn shook her head. "No, it's okay. I can't hold you hostage forever."

Noah smiled as he lightly kissed Quinn. "Text me if you need me back sooner, okay? I'll be as quick as I can be."

"Tell Finn I said hi." Quinn nodded. "And don't do anything stupid, okay?"

"We won't." Noah promised as he left.

Quinn took a deep breath as she closed the apartment door behind Noah. She left it unlocked since Judy was out running errands.

Beth was in her room playing, so Quinn took the opportunity to make some phone calls and catch up on emails.

Quinn was finishing up her work stuff when Noah returned.

"Hey." Noah smiled. "Hope you two are hungry 'cause I picked up some lunch."

"I'm not, but I'm sure Beth is." Quinn stated.

"You're okay." Noah promised Quinn. "I'm here."

"I know." Quinn said. "Thank you."

Noah nodded. "Did you talk to Beth about her birth certificate?"

"Not yet." Quinn replied. "I actually wanted you to be here when I did."

"I'll be here." Noah promised as he set up lunch.

"Okay." Quinn said. She got Beth from her room and returned to the kitchen.

The trio sat down together, and Quinn watched as Beth and Noah ate lunch.

"Mommy, how come you don't have lunch?" Beth asked.

"Mommy doesn't feel good today." Noah told Beth.

Beth frowned as she looked at Quinn.

"I'm okay, Beth." Quinn told her.

Beth continued eating slowly until she finished her food. She got up from the table and went back to her room, closing the door behind her.

"Quinn." Noah said softly.

"I want you to put your name on Beth's birth certificate." Quinn said. "As long as you and Beth both want that."

"I want to." Noah insisted. "As long as that's what Beth wants."

Quinn nodded and smiled slightly.

"You wanna go talk to her?" Noah asked.

"Yeah." Quinn nodded. "I don't know if she'll understand the whole birth certificate thing, but I'll explain the rest for now and we can see how she reacts."

Noah nodded back.

"I don't wanna throw too much at her at once." Quinn added.
