Quinn returned to the living room and sat down on the couch. She looked at Judy and Noah.
"So." Quinn began as she turned to her mother. "Hi. Wanna tell me what you're doing here?"
"I called her." Noah answered.
"What?" Quinn asked.
"I wanna see your show." Judy said. "And I figured I could help out with Beth during the week."
"Well, Noah is helping." Quinn told Judy. "Remember?"
Judy looked at Noah.
Quinn furrowed her eyebrow. "Whatever it is, just tell me."
"I asked your mom to come here and help out with Beth because they're finally gonna release my album." Noah told Quinn.
"Really?" Quinn asked.
Noah nodded slowly.
Quinn smiled as she hugged Noah and kissed him lightly. "I can't wait to hear it. I'm really proud of you."
"Thank you." Noah said softly as he took Quinn's hands, gently pulling her off of him.
"What does that have to do with my mom?" Quinn questioned Noah.
"I'm gonna go check on Beth." Judy muttered as she excused herself from the room.
Noah bit his lip. "I have to go back to L.A."
"When?" Quinn wondered.
"In a few days." Noah answered. "I wanted it to be a smooth transition for you and Beth so-"
"How long do you have to go to L.A. for?" Quinn cut Noah off.
"A month." Noah said. "Maybe two."
Quinn frowned and looked at him.
"I'll fly back here whenever I can, and I'll come to see your show and I'll visit Beth and..."
Quinn shook her head and Noah trailed off. "We're not gonna be able to make this work."
"We could." Noah stated. "We love each other. We can do this."
"We can't, Noah." Quinn said. "We barely got through my rehearsals and promo schedule."
"But we did." Noah pointed out. "And we're stronger because of it."
Quinn bit her lip and looked at Noah.
"I'm not giving up on us." Noah told Quinn as he took her hands and squeezed them. "Don't give up on us, Quinn."
"I'm just trying to be realistic." Quinn said softly. "Your album is gonna come out and you're gonna be doing promo and..."
Quinn trailed off as she took a deep breath, doing her best to stay calm.
"I'll stay here." Noah said as he looked at Quinn. "If you don't want me to go, I won't."
"Noah, you have to go." Quinn responded. "I want you to go."
"If it means losing you and Beth, I don't wanna go." Noah told Quinn.
"Well, I don't wanna be the one who holds you back." Quinn stated. "I wanna be the one who gets to celebrate your success with you. And yell at other women who fall in love with you."
Noah laughed lightly.
"You really think we can make this work?" Quinn asked.
"We'll be okay." Noah promised. "Come here."
"I love you, Noah." Quinn reminded him.
"I love you." Noah said as he kissed Quinn.
