"Stefan! Get your ass out this door this instance!" I yelled as I aggressively knocked on the door to his house.

In the back of my mind I was afraid that Damon might answer but I needed to know what happened early today. I needed answers and I needed them now.

"Stefan! Don't make me kick down your door!" He still didn't answer so I took matters into my own hands. I walked back a few steps so I could have a run up. I looked at the door and imagined it was a defensive player on my rival team. I closed my eyes and ran at full speed towards the door ready to make contact with it. But it never happened. Instead of a hitting a hard wooden door, I collided with a person.

I opened my eyes and saw that I was being held back by Stefan.

"Woah, easy there tiger." He chuckled quietly, masking his uncertainty. He let go of me and I glared daggers at him.

"You. Me. Talk. Now!" I growled at him, barging him as I made my way inside his beautiful house.

He closed the door behind me and followed me into the living room.

"What the hell is wrong with Damon." I demanded. I crossed my arms and stared him straight in the eye. My sudden statement making him uneasy.

"Ummm, I don't know what you're talking about." Stefan said, trying to convince me that he didn't know what was happening with his psycho brother.

"You don't know what I'm talking about?" I laughed sarcastically. "Well explain this." I grabbed Stefan's arm and led him towards the steps of the basement.

"We really shouldn't go down there. You know, ghosts and all." He tried to laugh to lighten the mood but failed miserably.

"Ghosts? Do you mean your psycho brother who possessed Caroline to let him out of his jail? I want answers now Stefan and I'm
not messing around." I commanded. I pursed my lips and waited for my answers. "And don't beat around the bush either. You tell me everything."

He stood there, analyzing me. He had grown frown lines on his forehead while I stood there with my arms crossed and jaw tensed. He looked really guilty.

"You have to promise me not to tell anyone. Please don't freak out. And you have to believe me." Stefan finally replied reluctantly.

"I promise. Now tell me." I was getting really impatient now.

He opened his mouth to talk but was interrupted by the doorbell. I groaned and walked with Stefan to the front door.

He opened it and standing there was my twin sister, Elena.

"What are you? What are you?" She commanded to Stefan. He stood there nervously, looking between the two of us.

"You know." Stefan replied to his angry girlfriend.

"No, I don't."

"Yes, you do, or you wouldn't be here." Stefan figured out.

"It's not possible. It can't be." Elena breathed, almost as if she'd just found out that Jeremy died and was in denial.

"Can someone please fill me in." I fumed.

"Everything you know... And every belief that you have is about to change. Are you ready for that?"

"What are you?" Elena said cautiously.

"I'm a vampire." Stefan said seriously. I looked at him, baffled, trying to analyze his features. He wasn't pale. He didn't have brown or red eyes. His skin didn't sparkle in the sun. He had to be joking.
