EDITED// 04-22-22

The good news or the bad new first? Let's just go in chronological order shall we.

When we got home from Richmond we were informed that Stefan got stuck behind the invisible barrier with Katherine under the church. Very clever of him.

This morning we tested Elena to see if she was still on her sacrifice path and to none of our surprise she failed. So, Bonnie performed a barrier spell on the house so Elena couldn't leave. The only problem with the spell was that I also couldn't leave, but it wasn't the end of the world - I could catch up on my TV shows and have a nice chill day in bed in my PJs.

After coming back upstairs to my bed after making a coffee I saw a text from Damon.

In the Grill with Alaric - some woman is here asking about Tyler. Gonna see if she's a werewolf just as a precaution. Full moon tonight. D x

Be careful and don't piss her off please.

Wouldn't dream of it ;)

I rolled my eyes and started messaging Tyler.

Hey, Ty. Sorry I can't be there for you today - Elena's literally got us trapped on house arrest. Good luck tonight, I hope it goes okay; I believe in you! I'll see you tomorrow.

Thanks, Lil. See you tomorrow.

I turned my phone off and let out a deep sigh. I was worried for Tyler seeing as tonight would be his first time transitioning into a werewolf. Hopefully he was going to be okay.

._.

After finishing season one of Friends for like the fifth time I decided it was probably time to show my face for a bit downstairs.

Elena had locked herself in her room so I didn't have to worry about running into her.

I grabbed a hoodie from my chair piled with clothes and threw it on before walking down the stairs.

Damon really should invest in one so I can steal it.

I saw Jenna looking for something in the closet under the stairs (hopefully it wasn't Harry Potter) and decided to see what was going on.

"Hey, Jenna." I smiled.

"Oh, hey Lily." She smiled back. "Finally left your room I see."

I rolled my eyes but kept the smile on my face. "What are you doing?"

"Perfect timing." She said before handing me a box.

"What is it?"

"Your mom's files from the Historical Society. I got roped into helping Mrs. Lockwood and by roped, I mean very excited to participate."

As she closed the closet door I saw a man standing behind her with an amused smile lingering on his face.

"Hey, I'm Elijah." He greeted.

I bet I look so good right now. An oversized hoodie, nike shorts and fuzzy socks - get me into Paris fashion week.

"Elijah's in town doing research on Mystic Falls." Jenna informed me.

Is he now. Thanks for inviting him inside Jenna, smh.

"Lily." I replied to him as if we had never met before.

He stepped closer and extended his hand. "It's a pleasure."

I shook his hand and gave him a tight lipped smile.

"So you're welcome to stay here and rummage through this stuff or Lily and I could help you load it into your car." Jenna offered.

"Or I can get someone to pick it up tomorrow?"

"Also a good plan."

"Thank you so much for inviting me into your home, Jenna." He said politely as he made his way to the front door. "Oh, and Lily." He looked at me. "I hope to see you again sometime soon."

I mean, as long as he doesn't try to kill me I would be okay with that.

He left the house and I headed straight for the kitchen.

After searching through the cupboards I decided to have a croissant so I buttered it up and added strawberry jello before heading back to my cave.

However, when I walked into my room I saw a man sitting by my window, my body jumping at the sight of this unexpected guest.

"Ahh! Stop, I could've dropped my croissant." I joked - I've always wanted to say that.

Elijah looked at me confused because he obviously had no idea what I was talking about and stood from his sitting position.

"I think it's time you and I had a little chat. Forgive me for the intrusion. I mean your family no harm." He assured me.

"What about Elena?"

"I've heard you and your sister don't have the same thoughts on the situation so I'll speak to her privately later."

I nodded and awkwardly placed my plate on my desk before sitting on the edge of my bed. "Sooo, what do you wanna talk about?"

"Klaus and I used to be very close." He started. "So I do not intend to break the curse. I intend to kill him."

Oh damn.

"And to do that I need to use yourself and your sister to draw him out. So I am here to make a deal."

"Go on."

"I want you to do nothing. Do nothing, live your life and when the time is right, Elena, yourself and I shall draw out Klaus together and I shall make sure your friends remain unharmed." He offered.

"Just like that?" I asked.

"Just like that." He smiled. "I'm a man of my word, Lily. I make a deal, I keep a deal."

I thought for a moment before speaking up again. "How are you going to keep everyone safe?"

"I notice you have a friend; Bonnie is it?" I nodded in response. "She seems to possess the gift of magic. I have friends with similar gifts. Together, we can protect everybody that matters to you. So, do we have a deal?"

"Sure."

"I'm glad we agree, Lily. Goodnight."

"Bye." I waved as he made his way to Elena's room.

Odd, very odd.
