My eyes fluttered open but quickly shut when the blinding, bright lights hit them. Everything that happened that night came rushing back to me - Vicki attacking me, Stefan killing her and Damon saving me.

I wondered where I was. My imagination told me that I was in purgatory, waiting to know whether I'll be going to Heaven or Hell. But my hearing brought me back to reality when I heard the annoying beep of a heart monitor.

I was in the hospital. Great.

I opened my eyes, getting used to the light and saw I was lying in bed in a plain white box room. There were lots of wires connected to me and I was wearing one of those ugly hospital gowns.

In the room with me was a sleeping Elena and a sleeping Stefan. Elena was sat in a chair to my right, holding my hand. Stefan was in another chair which was in the left corner of the room.

I decided to let them sleep so I laid there silently, thinking.

I gently removed my hand from Elena's and lifted up the gown to look at my scar. Everything seemed to be fully healed, thanks to Damon.

I lay there for a few moments before I got bored. To my left was a table with medication, food and a plastic water bottle. I grabbed the bottle and threw it at Stefan, hitting him in the chest.

He immediately woke and jumped up, high on alert until he saw me laughing; at this he relaxed.

"Look who finally decided to wake." Stefan smiled, causing Elena to stir and wake up.

"Well you know, got to keep you two on your toes." I smirked making Stefan roll his eyes.

They told me what happened after Damon took me to the hospital. Apparently Elena told him to compel Jeremy to think that Vicki left town and to forget all about last night.

The Doctors came in to check up on me and I convinced Stefan to compel them to let me go home.

Aunt Jenna came to take me home because she was picking Jeremy and Elena up from the police station.

I was put on house arrest by Elena because she didn't want Aunt Jenna to get suspicious as to why I was 100% healthy after having major surgery.

I should of gotten an Oscar the way I pretended to be in pain. I practically made Jeremy carry me up the stairs and into my bed. It wasn't that bad to be stuck in bed for a few days; I could make Jeremy and Elena my slaves.

The next morning Bonnie came over to visit. We both went into Elena's room to check up on her after I convinced Bonnie that I was alright.

"You up?"

"No." Elena sighed and pulled the covers over her head.

Bonnie walked over to Elena and tried to pull the covers off her.

"No, no!" Elena pleaded.

"Why haven't you called me back?" Bonnie asked, sitting next to Elena after giving up on the covers.

"I'm sorry." My twin sighed.

"Are you gonna stay in there forever?"

"Yup." Elena replied quickly.

"Move over." Bonnie commanded and Elena did so. I laid down on the other side of Elena.

"I'm officially worried." I sighed and turned to look at my sister.

"What's going on?" Bonnie questioned.

"I'm tired of thinking... of talking I..."

"Lily's got more spring in her step and she's been through surgery." Bonnie joked but Elena just rolled her eyes. "Can I get a one-line version so I can at least pretend to be helpful?"

"Stefan and I broke up." At this I sat up, my eyes wide. I knew they were going through a rough patch but I didn't think they'd break up.

"I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Right stupid question. I know I've been kind of MIA when you need me the most. I suck." Bonnie babbled.

"I'm gonna beat his ass." I finally said, causing Elena and Bonnie to look at me dumbfounded.

"Lily, no. I broke up with him." Elena sighed. I could tell she wasn't in the mood so I laid back down. "You wanna make it up to me. Get my mind off of it."

"Just remember you asked for it." Bonnie said excitedly. She got up from the bed and closed the window. She then grabbed a pair of scissors which were on Elena's nightstand and ripped open one of her pillows.

"Hey!" Elena complained as Bonnie let all the feathers from inside the pillow fall onto her bed.

"Be patient." Bonnie smiled.

"Ok."

"I need to swear you two to secrecy." Bonnie sat down in front of us and waited for our responses.

"It's kind of a bad week for that kind of stuff." Elena sighed.

"Swear, 'cause I'm not supposed to be showing you this." Bonnie pleaded.

"Ok, I swear." Elena gave in. Bonnie looked over at me waiting for me to answer. Her eyebrows raised.

"Fine. I pinky promise." I held out my pinky for her to take which she took immediately.

"There's no windows open, right?" Bonnie asked us.

"Correct." I stated looking around the room.

"There's no fan. No air conditioning."

"None. What are you doing?"

"Grams just showed me this. You're gonna love it. You ready?" Bonnie said excitedly.

"Show us then." I encouraged. Bonnie looked up at me with a smirk and then looked down at the feathers.

She put her hand over the pile of feathers and one of them levitated. Elena and I watched, our mouths hanging open. She put her hand down and the feather fell back to the bed.

"Bonnie, what's going on?" Elena asked in disbelief.

Bonnie took a deep breath and smiled at us. She used both of her hands and this time more feathers levitated. It was if she were Hermione Granger without a wand doing the wingardium leviosa spell.

Elena kept gasping in shock. Bonnie put her hands down and then all of a sudden half the pile of feathers were floating around Elena's room without Bonnie doing anything.

It felt as if I was a kid again, it was so magical. I stood up and grabbed Elena. A massive smile was plastered on my face as I admired what Bonnie had done.

Bonnie began to laugh at our reaction. "It's true guys. Everything my Grams told me. It's impossible and it's true. I'm a witch." Bonnie stated the obvious. She sounded a bit nervous telling us - probably because she didn't want to be judged.

With everything that I've learnt in the past week, finding out that Bonnie was a witch was probably the most sane thing I'd heard.

"I believe you." Elena and I said at the same time, causing all three of us to smile even wider; if that was even possible.
