EDITED// 11-26-21

As I walked out of my bedroom ready for another mundane day, I saw Aunt Jenna and Elena talking in the bathroom. This peaked my interest and I walked over to see what they were talking about.

"Do I look adult? As in respectfully parental?" I heard Jenna say. I poked my head through the door and saw her all dressed up.

"Depends on where you're going." Elena shrugged.

"Jeremy's parent-teacher conference. Hair up or down?" She put her hair up to show us how it would look.

"Sexy stewardess." Elena grinned.

"Boozy housewife." I chimed in as Jenna put her hair down.

"Up it is. You're feisty today." Jenna joked.

"Aren't I always?" A sarcastic grin found its way onto my face.

"Yes you are Lily" Jenna rolled her eyes at me. "but Elena as well?!"

"I feel good, which is rare. So I've decided to go with it. Fly free, walk on the sunshine, and all that stuff." Elena looked into our brother's room. "Where is Jeremy?"

"He left early. Something about getting to wood shop early to finish a birdhouse." I snickered at how naive our new guardian was.

"There is no wood shop, is there?" Jenna said, mentally scolding herself.

"No."

"Yeah." Jenna sighed.

I had a rough idea where he might be. Either smoking pot somewhere with his weird crackhead buddies or in the hospital, where Vikki currently is after being attacked by an animal. Hopefully it's the latter.

After another 'entertaining' history lesson with Mr. Tanner, Caroline, Bonnie and I were walking around the hallway talking about Bonnie's witchy descent.

"I'm confused. Are you psychic or clairvoyant?" Caroline commented.

"Technically, Grams says I'm a witch. My ancestors were these really cool Salem witch chicks or something. Grams tried to explain it all, but she was looped on the liquor so I kinda tuned out. Crazy family, yes. Witches? I don't think so." Bonnie explained again so Caroline could understand. I could tell Caroline didn't believe her at all.

"Yeah, well, feel free to conjure up the name and number of that guy from last night." Caroline blushed.

"Um, what guy?!" I asked intrigued.

"Oh, just some hottie that Caroline couldn't keep her eyes off of at the Grill." Bonnie joked.

Caroline gasped. "It's not my fault you didn't see him. I bet if you would have seen him you'd be in the same position I'm in."

"Why didn't you just talk to him?" Bonnie asked.

"I don't know. I was drunk." We all laughed and walked off to our next lesson.

"Well, I was talking to Grams, and she said the comet is a sign of impending doom. The last time it passed over Mystic Falls, there was lots of death. So much blood and carnage, it created a bed of paranormal activity." Bonnie was telling us more about what her Grams had told her. I was trying to act interested in what she was saying, however, my diet coke that was in front of me had all of my attention. It was so good, especially in this heat.

"Yeah, and then you poured Grams another shot and she told you about the aliens." Caroline said, rudely. "So then what." Caroline looked over at Elena.
