"Cuckoo!" I heard someone shout, waking me up.

My mind felt foggy, like something had happened before I'd past out but I couldn't remember it.

I looked around and saw that I was laying next to a tree.

"Wake up! Catch." Pan said throwing me an apple, it pounced on the floor in front of me, I looked down at the apple before looking back up at Pan.

"I don't like apples." I told him.

"Who doesn't like apples?" Pan asked, confused as he walked over to me.

"It's a family thing."

Pan chuckles, before crouching down in front of me.

"Well, don't worry. They're not for eating. It's for a kind of game."

I looked up and Pan in confusion.

"A really fun game." Pan continued.

"I call it target practice." He pointed his crossbow at me, while looking at me with a devious smirk.

I looked at the crossbow that was aimed at me in worry but I tried to now let it show.

If Pan had planned this game, something told me that it would be a lot more dangerous then fun.

"What's that?" I asked Pan, who was dipping an arrow into some sort of liquid.

"Dreamshade." Pan replied.

"Its a nasty poison."

"We have a story here about a man who once shot an apple off his sons head with an arrow." Pan continued.

"Let's find out if it's possible." Pan loaded the arrow into the crossbow.

"If your shooting at the apple what's the poison for?" I asked, as Pan kept aiming and adjusting the crossbow.

"Motivation not to miss." Pan smirked.

"Felix! Get over here." Pan demanded as Felix got up from sitting down and walked over to the two.

"Is-is Felix good? Is his aim good?" I heard my voice crack a bit due to fear.

"Doesn't matter." Pan replies, turning to look at Felix who smiles at me mischievously.

"Your the one doing the shooting." He finishes, handing me the crossbow.
