Hey everyone! The next few chapters will be Crowvern's POV and his apprentice's POV. Now I asked a couple of my friends to be a part of this, but I won't tell you until the showdown between Zelara and Crowvern. This one is Crowvern's POV, BTW. Enjoy!
"Block high!" I said.
I brought down my training saber and my apprentice blocked my attack.
Ilona has gotten stronger, but it would be more beneficial for her to train with an actual lightsaber instead of these worthless sticks... If only she can find a kyber crystal...
Ilona then swung her stick near my side. Dodging her attack, I tripped her with my stick and watched her fall backward. When she tried to get up, I rested the tip of the stick against her neck.
"And that's your head." I said.
Ilona let out a frustrated sigh and swatted away the stick. She got up and brushed away the dust that stained her skin and attire.
"Let's go again," I said, handing Ilona her fallen weapon.
"Again?" she asked half-heartedly, taking the training saber.
"Yes! If you want to become stronger, physically, and mentally, you need to train; no matter how vigorous it may be."
Ilona groaned and expertly spun her stick.
"Ready position." I said.
Ilona nodded and lunged forward. Charging at her, I swung the training saber over and over. Ilona was able to block every single blow, but in the end, I bested her again.
"Again." I said.
"What?" Ilona suddenly asked.
I stared at my apprentice in surprise.
"All we've been doing for the past few days was lightsaber training. When are you going to teach me how to use this Force?" Ilona asked.
"You want to learn how to use the Force? Fine. Lift the ship." I said, pointing at it.
Ilona looked at me with a smug expression on her face. Stepping in front of the ship, she held out her hand and closed her eyes. After what felt like half an hour, Ilona has yet to succeed in lifting the ship.
"Did you have to ask me to lift something so heavy?" she asked.
"Why are you complaining to me? You're the one who wanted to learn how to use the Force." I said.
Stepping in front of her, I held out my hand and easily lifted the ship of the dusty ground like it was nothing.
"Showoff..." Ilona muttered.
Letting a small smile form, I carefully placed the ship back on the ground.
"You make it look so easy," Ilona said.
"That's because it IS easy. You just have to focus," I said.
"First, I was focusing. Did you not see me standing here for the past half-hour? Second, you lifted the ship with little to no effort."
"You start small by doing something big is what my Master used to say. When I started out, he made me lift a boulder twice the size of the ship. Now, whenever I lift the ship, it's as light as a pebble."
Ilona sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Try again, but this time, become one with the Force." I said.
Ilona nodded and held out her hand once more. The ship began to rumble and was soon lifted off the ground.
"Yes!" Ilona cheered.
