Continuation of "A Mission for Rebel Women" Enjoy!

It was a little while after the other women and I went on that mission, and it's been really quiet since then.

After that mission, the bond I have with them now has strengthened. I couldn't ask for better friends, a better family.

Right now, Kanan and I were having a duel.

"Is that the best you've got, Kanan?" I asked, swinging my lightsaber.

Kanan dodged my attack with the slightest of ease.

"Trust me, I'm just getting started." Kanan said.

Kanan and I charged at each other, and our blades collied; sparks flying off both our weapons.

"Kanan! Zelara!" cried out a voice.

The two of us stopped and turned in the direction of the voice. It was Sabine.

Wonder what she wants...?

"What's up Sabine?" I asked.

"You guys need to come to the command center," Sabine said.

"Why? What's wrong?" Kanan asked.

"Just, come on!"

Sabine ran off in the opposite direction with a wide grin on her face. Kanan and I turned to each other and shrugged. Deactivating our weapons, the two of us followed our Mandalorian friend to the command center. When we got there, there were a significant number of pilots flooding the command deck.

What's going on...?

As I looked around, I noticed Hera, Val, Hobbe, and Wedge in the center of the sea of pilots. Kanan and I pushed our way to the front until we were with our beloved captain.

"Hera, what's going on?" Kanan asked.

Hera turned around and sighed heavily.

"Kanan, Zelara. I'm glad the two of you are here," she said.

"What's wrong, and why there so many pilots here?" I asked.

"Well, there's been a large debate going around saying who the real ace pilot of the rebellion is. It's come down to be between Val, Hobbe, Wedge, and myself."

That's what all the fuss is about...?

"Yeah, I know I'm a good pilot, but I don't know I'm even up to par with Captain Hera here." Val said.

"Hobbe and I are rather good fliers. I mean, we were TIE fighter pilots before we joined you guys." Wedge commented.

Kanan and I turned to each other and shook our heads in disbelief. We couldn't believe what we were hearing.

"Hera is obviously the ace pilot! She's Phoenix Leader, after all." said one of the pilots.

"Just because she's Phoenix Leader, doesn't mean she's the ace pilot! Hobbe and Wedge were TIE fighter pilots. You have to be an impressive pilot to become one of those." commented another pilot.

"Both of you are wrong! It's obviously Val. Give the underdog some credit!" argued another pilot.

I placed a hand on my temple and sighed as I listened to the many bickering pilots. Sensing a presence coming towards me, I turned around to see Sabine, Ezra, and Zeb push their way to the front.

"Can you guys believe this?" Ezra asked.

"Yes. Yes, I can." I said.

"I may be blind, but just hearing what's going on is giving me a headache." Kanan said.
