You and Dan had been best friends for a good four maybe five years and you've always had a bit of a crush on him, you were sitting down next to your best friend deep in thought. " y/n are you okay?" Dan asks you reply with a few nods and go back to thinking. About an hour passes and Dan has to go home "y/n are you okay you've been really quiet all day which isn't like you" dan asks once again sounding kinda worried, "yeah dan I promise you I'm fine" you answer with a smile, with that he hugs you and says goodbye before walking out.
*the next morning*
You wake up to the sound of your phone ringing, you rub your eyes and sit up and then answer
"Hello.."
"Morning are you okay" a happy voice chirps down the phone
"I was but you woke me up" you said slightly snapping
"Sorry sweetie open the door I need to talk to you asap" and with that dan hung up, you got up out of bed and brushed your hair making yourself somewhat presentable, you run down the stairs and open the door to a very tired looking Dan
"OMG are you okay you look really tired what's happened?"
"Well I couldn't sleep all night because I was thinking of you"
"I swear I'm fine dan you don't need to worry about me"
" I can't help it, I love you"
" you love me?"
"Yep have done ever since we met"
You stood there for ages trying to take in the fact Daniel James Howell just told you he loved you,but was quickly snapped out of thoughts when Dan started kissing you.
"Y/n I really really love you,so I was wondering will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes of course I will" you replied hugging him tightly
