Three years later...

"KINAKABAHAN ako, Lucas. Feeling ko, nganga ako mamaya sa harap ng mga tao kasi makakalimutan ko 'yong mga sasabihin ko," she nervously said to me. We're on the way now to the hotel where the launching of Rollick Empire's new toy collection for this season will take place.

Tonight will be her very special night. And this is the night that she has been waiting for.

I held her hand. "Don't be, I'll be by your side. I won't leave you," I told her, then kissed her hand to ease her worry. And from her worry face, it automatically turns into a sweet smile when she saw me did that. She always loves being hold like this by me. "Just tell them what you want to say later. It should be from your heart, baby, so it will come naturally," I added and winked at her.

"Oo, George. 'Wag kang kabahan! Isipin mo na lang 'yong mga pinagdaanan mo bago sumapit itong pinakahihintay mong moment sa buhay mo. Pati na rin 'yong mga naging inspirasyon mo. 'Yong speech mo, gawin mo lang na para kang nagkukuwento sa kanila," Secretary Nelson gave her an advice, too. He's our driver right now going there.

"Salamat, Kuya Nelson!" she told him. Then, she sit properly and starts calming herself while still holding my hand. "Okay, okay..." I heard her whisper to herself while heaving a sigh for many times. I smiled while watching her do that. Damn, my baby is so cute, and so beautiful at the same time. And when I can't help it, I cupped her face and give her a kissed on her temple.

Minutes later, we've finally arrived at the hotel. Some guards are already there to meet us. Secretary Nelson quickly went out of the car to open the door for us here in the backseat. And even that we're not already coming out of the car, lots of reporters hurriedly went to us. I went out first so I can help her get out safely.

"Thank you," she told me sweetly and gave me a smile that almost take my breath away. I just smiled back and offered my arms to her afterwards. She took it and wrapped her arms around it.

Flashes of camera covered us when we finally started taking our steps getting inside the hotel. Secretary Nelson lead us the way while the guards are protecting us from the reporters that blocking our way.

I felt her hold tightened on my arms. She's having discomfort again to this, I guess. Until now, she's still not used to this kind of spotlight.

Until we finally got inside the hotel. We immediately went to the nearest elevator so we can finally get to the private hall of this hotel where the launching will take place.

After a while, the elevator stops when it finally reached the floor that we're going to. Some hotel staffs are finally there to meet us after we went out of the elevator. They lead us the way going to the hall.

We stopped in front of the big wooden double doors of the event hall for them to open it for us. And there, the dim lights and the elegant theme of the whole place welcomed us along with a lot of guests that are here for tonight's event. They all turned to us after the master of ceremony acknowledged our arrival and it follows with a big round of applause as they all stood up. I simply smiled for all the people that we meet as we finally walked down the red-carpeted aisle going to our reserved table in front, while my baby warmly greets them with a beautiful smile on her face.

Until we finally saw our family in front. They are also standing right now as they watch us walk towards them.

"Mammy! Pappy!" she hurriedly went to her parents and hugged them. Nagmano naman ako sa mga ito at bumati. Thankfully, her father is not frowning to me anymore. It finally changed as the years went by. Her mother hugged me in glee afterwards. Ang Ate Felyn lang niya ang kasama ng mga ito ngayong. Maybe her Ate Thery has a duty right now at the hospital that's why she and her husband are not here.
