Chapter 24

Hanson Nilla's POV

Kinagabihan. Magiging akyat bahay ako ngayon. Plano kong pasukin ang bahay ni Gary at itakas si Liana.

Para akong ninja sa suot ko. Wala, nakablack suit lang naman ako.

Dahil klarong-klaro ko si Manong guard sa kinatatayuan ko. U-upo-upo akong naglalakad patungo sa gate. Nagkakape si manong guard and I have now my sleeping grains. I threw a glass inside and I saw him went there so I grab the chance to put the grains in his coffee and stir it as fast as I could and again, I hide.

I sense that he's coming, so I hide even more. I got a mirror in me and I used it to see his reflection. Now his drinking his coffee and in just a seconds, bang! his out.

Inakyat ko ang gate at alerto akong pumasok aa bahay. Papasok na sana ako sa pinto kaso nakita ko si gary na papalabas ng pinto kaya nagtago muli ako. Muntikan pa akong makita kaya for sure napatigil siya. Sa likuran naman ako nagpunta at naghanap ng lugar na mapapasukan. I saw a small balcony at the back so I threw my rope on it and I make sure that it's good enough to ride and climb on. Nang masure ko na okay na ay umakyat na ako. I kept the rope kasi baka may makakita pa.

Nagtago ako at dahan-dahang sinuri ang paligid. I'm in a room. May ilaw pa. I bet, this is Gary's room. I saw a picture on his deck. A girl. Wait! That was cheska! And I remember tat I go out with her before. Why is she in Gary's picture frame? Could it be that--

"Who are y---" Natigilan yung nagsalita ng biglang lumingon ako sa kanya.

"Hanson?" Gulat na tanong niya. Its Gary.

"What are you doing here? And what-- what are you wearing? Pft. " Natatawang tanong niya. I went near him at kinwelyuhan siya.

"This is your house right? How long will you lie? What did you do to Liana? WHERE IS SHE?!" Umatras siya at tinaas ang dalawang kamay na parang susuko.

"Chill, man! Your blood!" Natatawang sabi niya.

"Where is she?"

Gary Angara's POV

F*ck! How did he came up here? I was in the-- wait. It could be that-- Aha! How smart he could be. Psh. She's looking for Liana and I don't know where the f*ck she is.

"Ano bang pinagsasabi mo?" I don't even know where she is. Yung mga tauhan ko kasi ang bobo.

"Wait, Gary. Kaano-ano mo si Cheska?" He said pointing the picture of girlfriend in my desk near my bed.

"She's my girlfriend, man. That Bar is supposed to be my gift to her. But what did you do? Tss. Just leave." Inis na sabi ko. 'Pag naiisip ko talaga ang nangyaring iyun.

Flashback

"Okay, I'll work on it. Just don't let it be hold by someone else. I'm going to get this in not less than a month."

Month goes by

"Hey, baby. I'll pick you up tomorrow. I have a surprise for you for our 4th anniversary." I said over the phone.

"And, I have something important to tell you, baby. I hope you will not freak out." HAhaha! I hope so. I just lover her. There's no need to freak out.

"Okay." I ended the conversation smiling. I love her so much. I love her.

At the bar, 12 midnight, 9 hours before I'll surprise her.

"I'm gonna get this." I said to the owner. I can't read his reaction looking at me with the paper he's holding.

"What's the problem?" I asked seriously. There should be no problem.

"Sir, I'm so sorry. Pero somebody tried to bought this for 400k. It was just-- ughm.. a big amount." Nahilamos ko ang mukha ko and looked at him with my face so angry.

"What? You chose him than me? I-- God! I picked this first. We agreed on this already. Man, don't be like that. Come on, give me the contract and I'll sign." What's wrong? 300k isn't enough for him? Shit! Who's that stupid guy, huh?

"Sorry, sir. But--" He stopped.

"Okay! 500k. Is it enough?" He jaw dropped.

"Now give me the damn contract!" Inis na sabi ko. Nakita ko pa sa loob ng folder ng pangalan ng gustong bumili ng bar na ito. And I am so f*cking pissed off when I knew that it was Hanson. What's wrong with him, huh?

9 hours, the day of my surprise.

"Baby, don't peek." I said. Nasa tapat na kami ng bar.

"Ya ready?" She nodded and I removed my hands in his eyes.

"A bar? Baby! This is so amazing! I've been wanting this for so long! Thank you!" She hugged me real tight. And I can feel his joy today. I'm glad she's happy.

"Now what is it that you want me to hear?" Kumawala siya sa pagkakayakap sa akin and from being so happy, I can now see her face so sad.

"What's wrong baby. Don't worry, I will not--"

"I two-timed." Hindi ko natuloy ang sasabihin ng dahil sa sinabi niya. I'm now trying to sink that in. I just smiled.

"Kidding, baby. You got me in there. Hahaha!" I laughed, hoping she's kidding.

"I'm so sorry. I also told him about the bar. But baby, I already broke up with him last night. Please, don't freak out. Please, don't leave me. I love you so much. I'm sorry. Huhuhuhu... " She hugged me and I was just magnetized by the floor where I am standing, don't know what to do, what to say.

"Baby, how can you do this to me?" I said between my sobs. I am crying for Pete's sake!

"Kailan mo pa ito ginawa?" Kumawala siya sa pagkakayakap sa akin at hinawakan niya ang mukha ko trying to stop my eyes from crying.

"It was just a month. I started it when we have LQ. Sorry, baby. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. Please.. " I smiled.

"Just-- just.. Just give me space." And I leave her in there, crying. I was a little bit far to her but GOD! I can't do it. I turned my back and went close to her.

"Apology accepted." She looked at me and hugged me.

'Pag iniisip ko talaga iyun, talagang kumukolo dugo ko.

"Wait, cheska is your girlfriend?" He asked so shocked.

"Then?" Kumunot ang noo niya. Bajit ba kasi?

"She two--" Hindi pa nga niya napagpatuloy ang sasabihin ay alam ko na ang ibig sabihin niya at sobrang inis at galit ang namumuo sa akin ngayon.

"It was you! That's why you tried to get the bar. It's you!" Galit na sabi ko.

Sinugod ko siya at nagsuntukan kami. Shit him!
