I walked down the hallway before a door almost met with my face if I hadn't blasted it closed and hit the one that opened it.
"Oh fuck I am sorry!" I said quickly, opening the door and helping up the elvish woman in a sleeveless red dress and a really deep neckline.
"It is fine, my bad for not being careful." I watched in surprise that her hair was brown, which was a rare sight for elves and eyes silver. "I am a bit disoriented, where is the throne room? I seem lost."
"Well king Alabard wouldn't be there right now as it is time for dinner, I'll accompany you as I am going there." I held my elbow out so she could hook her arm around it.
"Thank you."
"Of course.... Sorry but have we ever met? You seem weirdly familiar."
"Not for enough time to strike you but I do remain seeing your face."
"Really? Well I must be lucky to have met you before as you are splendid."
"Oh my, thank you."
-----------------------------------------
"So here we are." I made the doors open. "My king, someone wants to talk with you."
I lifted a brow at how gobsmacked everyone in the room looked.
"Did I burn something on accident?" I asked trying to get them to snap out of their shock as I felt Tra radiate laughing energy.... Somehow.
The elf started to laugh which snapped most out of their shock.
Kela yanked me and was shaking me as the king went to her.
"Stop shaking me and talking so fast!" I freed myself from her.
"Lin the fuck?!" She said pointing at her and taking a breath. "How?!"
"How what? Is she some kind of common hallucination?" Kela smacked me on the back of the head strong enough I headbutted her shoulder. "Damn woman, stop smacking me!!"
"That's queen!!!" She yelled.
"Eh?" I blinked several times before looking at the elf I brought in. "Eeeeeeeh?!?!" I pointed at her just to get smacked again.
"Yeah 'eh?!' so how the hell is she here?!"
"Gods if I know, she almost hit me with a door when I ran into her!!"
I spent a few minutes bickering with Kela trying to prove to her I did nothing before I shut up.
"Wait she said she remembered my face," I said softly. "Kela we never met right?"
"Yeah you never did!"
"Could she have been the lady frozen over? Since that happened earlier today and the being had looked at me."
"Did we just save the queen?" She whispered back, both of us on the same wavelength now.
"I think so."
"It would explain her waking up."
"Belladonna also had stayed in stasis in the spirit plains."
"And our queen is a spiritual genius."
"And mages or spiritual people can enter the spirit plains."
"But not all know the way back!"
"And she got stuck!!" I declared with a smile as we solved this mystery reappearance.
--------------------------------------------
"I still can't believe it." The king said in shock as Kela and told him our discovery as to why she was asleep and why back now of all times.... Or at least it was our theory.
"Well, we didn't expect this either." Kela said as I nodded.
"I guess I need to formally thank both of you for my rescue despite it being unplanned." I bowed my head, even tho we weren't berated for not being as polite as my uncle and aunts with all the bowing and gestures, we still all knew how to use them.
"Tho I must ask, how did you get stuck since it might be a risk for others too my queen'" I asked.
"As you must know from my husband, or Kelarian here, I enjoy the world of spirits." So that's why Tra had no problem presenting himself since most elves are believers of spirits, none of them did make a big ruckus and point him out resting around my neck, they didn't even acknowledge him. "One day I lost my way, tricked by a spirit that trapped me in its lair, it was cold and lonesome but a man had come visit with the promise of help, he looked a bit like you,"
That struck a cord in me.
"I... Excuse me my queen but I have no father in my life currently, taken off the streets by the current head mage and taking into the royal family of Solor's current queen, are you sure he looked like me?"
"I am positive."
"I-- Thank you for these news."
This was a game changer, I had a father.... A blood related father..... But where...
