I sat up, smashing my head with Fen and both falling over with a groan of pain.

After rubbing my face down and looking around I realized not much changed since I passed out which could only mean Fen slapped some of his magic in me, easier said then done to share magic even tho we are both elementals but possible, my mather changed many of the rules coming along and discovering new ways of magic, elemental and wild.

"Liny!"

I gripped Kia tightly as she came running to me.

"I am alright sweetie, I just took a short nap." I whispered as I got to my feet with Fin's help.

"We are no match to you." I turned to look at Brad and his group of assailants or would be assailants before the whole ordeal. his head was lowered shamefully and what I could see of his face had confusion written all over it. "We are you enemies, why save any of us?"

"Is your foot okay?" I asked the one that tripped and turned to Brad after that boy nodded at me. "Why I saved you? Some had a bad start in life and think this is what they want in life without realizing the cage around them, you were all mislead down a path of death and murder.... But even that isn't what lead me to risk all to help on of you."

"Then what? I don't understand, you could have saved yourself and let us all die."

"I could have but understand, all life is important, not only those I care for but those your nurtured, when someone needs help it is our nature to help, it doesn't matter if you wanted to kill me, we were all in that situation together, why save one and let another die? Why? Tell me." 

I nodded to myself at their silence.

"You all had an unfortunate start to life, seen as trash under others but here you are just pawns, more people would have replaced you, all promised the same as they promised all of you, realize life is not what you get but what you make of it, so if you drop those cloaks now you can turn away from this suicide mission and write yourself a new future, a new life, one you want to live, one worth the sacrifices and the hardships, not because you'll get rich or be really powerful but because you built it yourself with your two hands and you can be proud of it."

I slightly smiled as Kela whom I saw smile at me, I can be eloquent when needed.

I heard a rustle of cloth and looked back at a woman that hadn't spoken not really moved that much outside of running, holding the cloak in her hands, teary eyes as she dropped it.

"I have enough of this." She said in a meek voice. "I just want to go home."

Slowly each and every last one of them followed, leaving Brad the last one cloaked.

"How will things change for the good tho? We have nothing, they gave us something."

"You can always make something of yourself, you can survive, you learnt wild magic, you are a human being with a life, the gods might not help personally but your fate isn't grim and grey. trust your strength and build a life, you can do it, if no one then I will believe in you."

He slowly dragged the cloak down his body and let it fall in a heap on the ground, emotions conflicting on his face.

"You fates are all yours to shape now that your cages have been open, go.... Fly away and be free."

I watched each move in a different direction, slowly, as if waking from a long sleep.

"Arianna?" I set Kia down gently and she gripped my leg as the mentioned girl looked at me. "Come here."

"Yes?" She said softly, I just lifted my hands to the restraints and freed her arm, she flecked her arms with a look of wonder and confusion as she looked up at me.

"Fly away." I said with a smile.

Her eyes went wider then they already were before taking a step, waiting as if I would stop her before taking another and when she saw I wouldn't move a bright relieved smile came across her face and she ran to catch up, linking hands with Brad as they walked away between the trees towards a hard but just life.

"What if they come back? How can you trust them?" There was no resentment in Fin's voice as he asked me that.

"They won't come back" I said softly.

"How do you know?" I looked back at him.

"I just do." I said with a smile, no soul would choose a cage over freedom. "Come on, lets move, we should be nearing the location just after the mountain peek."

I carried Kia as we walked with hope for a normal life for the eleven that had been our enemies but now show light.

"Good luck." Kia looked confused as she heard me say that but I just smiled.
