"KELA CATCH!!" I yelled as I threw Kia towards her and spun on myself, launching myself in front of my enemy, he was sent to kill me but I just couldn't watch him be swallowed by the snow.
"LIN NO!!" I heard her yell at me as I crouched and threw my arms out.
I got knocked down by the force of the snow slamming into my magic shield, my knees pressed in the ground and only staying upright as the boy was just at the right place at the right time for my back to be pressed against his upper body and stop me from being pushed back more.
I quickly switched up my hands positioning, one aimed at the ground and the other held up behind me, sloping the magic to stop the snow from slamming into the shield straight on but slide over it and fall behind further away, I trusted the people were fast enough to move in the space kept safe by my rapidly depleting magic.
Tears of fear came to my eyes as I felt my magic drain at an alarming rate and the avalanche was still giving and still forcing me back.
They dripped down my face as cracks started to form on the translucent blue surface of my magic, my arms were tiring and slowly lowering despite me fighting it, the strength of nature pushing down.
I bite down to blood on my lower lip, putting the little fight in me into trying to save us from the inevitable.
I can't fail...
I can't...
I can't let them....
I struggled with the last of my strength.
"You know this is not the end." I heard Tra's voice as I felt his smaller form wrap around me.
"I can't let them die." I whispered, strained, the edges the shield shattering away.
"Then don't let them, reach deep within, that burning cold power that enveloped you that day, it is yours, you just need to get too it, grab it."
I took a deep breath, he is right, that mysterious power is still here, I just need to catch it.
I closed my eyes tightly as I shoved my arm back to where they were as they were almost pushed back against me.
I opened them and was met with darkness.
I whipped around and saw a blue crystal like shape with a white glow around it and snow flakes falling off it hover in the darkness.
I jumped towards it.
Hand held out as I heard the shield shatter.
I snapped my eyes open, a strong burst of wind blowing a half circle of the snow slide away into nothing in front of me as I jumped up, moving forth a few feet and slamming my left foot down while throwing my arms out.
The snow rippled upwards, getting pushed up with immense force and sending it flying up in the air when it passed the mountain peek.
I took a deep breath, panting as if I had been holding my breath which could be plausible.
The huge rippled took care of it all, the snow that fell back down was only ankle height.
I saw the still blowing wind whip my white hair in my face so I knew I indeed succeeded in what Tra mentioned.
I stumbled to the side while watching the almost snowless mountain facades before my knees gave out and fell on my side.
I heard loud buzzing as I passed out from having drained my magic.

"Well that was something." I opened my eyes in the spirit realms, I know I easily shift between the realms but this is getting ridiculously easy.
"Hello mather." I said, still laying on my back.
"Are you sure you are not a spirit." She asked, crouching near my head, flicking my nose.
"I sure as hell am not." I turned to the side and sat up, legs pulled under me.
"Just making sure but that was stupid, what about making a rock wall or rock dome? Even lifting you guys up from the ground with stone or something."
"It was a stressful situation okay? I didn't have time to think, you could have called the dragons to help the black sun day but you never did, you didn't even think of it I am sure like I didn't think of what else I could do now."
"Fine, you won this round."
"Anyhow are you healing?"
"Slowly my body does heal itself even without magic but it sure would help if you hurried up from this expedition and bring Kelarian back as she is the best healer we have."
"We hurry as much as we can mather."
"I would enjoy being in my body instead of wandering the spirit plains, a really beautiful place but this is not my home."
"I promise we are hurrying."
"That's all I ask, it hurts to not be able to help out in anyway."
"We'll be soon back."
"I trust you."
"You better."
