"And you haven't finished one."

"Your human stuff and much less potent then what be forefathers can brew."

"Aaah yes." I leaned my head on my hand. "The legendary deadly ale of the elves."

"It is deadly to humans, you are the most fragile beings on this land."

"I know what we are Kela no need to remind me, one day I need to try some of you guys's less strong stuff."

"One day but no today that's for certain."

"Why would you have some on you?"

"No and you are too young."

"I am like.... 20 something, I am an adult."

"Just... Don't argue on this, you'd bite the dust if you took one sip after all you already drank."

"Fine but I'll have a taste."

"Yeah yeah." I waved her off and finished my mug.

"Who is no one worried about you guys being here?"

"Mother used to sneak out with her siblings to come here so she'd know where to look for us plus we can use magic to blast to safety."

"The twins are gone tho."

"Some blond maiden struck at Fen's heartstrings and she's gone too."

"And Fin?"

"Getting pegged for all I know, he tends to get into some situations when drunk."

"And you don't?"

"Listen here you four eyed elf I do not fuck around, I am a proud owner of a body count of zero."

"So a virgin."

"Sounded like it! I can wait for the person I love unlike others."

"Okay okay I get it."

"Are you a virgin?!" I poked her chest.

"Lin you are drunk."

"My life has no purpose now."

"I am taking you home."

"You wretched witch let me go."

"I don't get paid enough for this." I felt her pick me up in princess carry, I can walk!.. Or can I? I wouldn't know. I crossed my arms.

"You aren't getting paid tho."

"Exactly."

"Shut up."

"Language!"

"Lin I swear."

"God why did I drink so much?" I asked after a while, face scrunched up.

"Asking myself the same thing." Kela said.

"Stop iiiiit." I pushed her face with my hand.

"You are such a child."

"Kelaaaaaaaaa."

"What?"

"I feel sick." I was dropped. "That hurt."

"Don't get sick on me."

"You are mean."

"No just trying to shake you sober."

"You aren't shaking me."

"Gods give me strength."

I flopped on my back, staring at the stars.

"The stars are nice."

"Yeah they are." I saw her sit down next to me.

"Mother always told me once when the old war that almost killed off humans happened the gods cried and all the stars are what remain of their tears painting the skies."

"Who knows, maybe it is true."

"Kela I feel sick."

"You already told me."

"Help me."

"How?"

"Isn't there something your magic can do?"

"No unfortunately."

"Can I borrow your leg?"

"What reason?"

"Just let me."

"Fine?"

I laid my head on her leg as I turned on my side.

I felt her hand rest on my head before pulling off what I tied my hair up with and brushing her fingers through it.

I woke up with a headache and sat up, dragging my hands down my face and sighing.

I got out of bed and grabbed my stuff before heading to the bathroom without a care.

When I finished and stepped in the living room I was only in my undershirt and trousers, the rest of the uniform left behind.

"You don't look too good." I rubbed my head.

"I don't feel good either elfy."

"Yeah please no." I chuckled softly at her dislike of the nickname.

"Anyhow what you doing here?"

"It might be the mages quarters but anyone can come in can't they? I brought you back here after you fell asleep and decided to stick around."

"Thanks." I sat down next to her and flopped over so my head was in her lap.

She didn't look up from the book she was reading as I brought up my legs on the couch so I was fully laying on it while closing my eyes as I felt her drag her fingers through my hair.
