"You of all people should have common sense." I repeated but Kela just had this annoying determined look in her eyes, I sighed. "So be it..... IF YOU'LL BE IN MY WAY!! DIE!!!" I whipped my hand out, icicles rushing at her.
I saw a blur and she was next to me, I blocked the strike of her blade with my iced hand, grabbing it and throwing it out of range.
"Yeah she told me about your little speed trick!" I grinned as her surprise that I caught her strike. "you really did try to kill me.... YOU'LL PERISH FOR THAT!!!" I kneed her in the stomach and grabbed her throat, slamming her down face first in the ground before picking her up and throwing her away. "YOU ARE NOTHING AGAINST ME!!!"
"You'll regret this Lin!" She yelled as she got on her knees and arms, a bruise already forming on her face.
"YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT ME?!!" I marched over.
"No, you'll regret hurting us, Lin get a grip on yoursel--" I grabbed her and tossed her on some icicles sticking from the ground, she twisted her body so her hands hit the ground and shoved herself to the side before she landed on the sharp ice. "Lin, you can't let anger guide you, you'll feel like a scumbag of a person after, anger is not the key!!"
"SHUT YOUR TRAP!!" I kicked her head. "SHE KILLED MY MATHER!!!"
"Lin please!"
"FIGHT BACK DAMMIT!!" I kicked her back, her skin was frozen and bleeding where the ice cracked, bruise already a deep blue purple.
"Lin I don't blame you!" She yelled over the wind, sitting on her knees. "I know what it is like! I told you! I can't let you commit the same mistakes!!"
"WHY WOULD YOU--" I spin kicked her, her body rolling across the ground. "-CARE?!?!"
"Because I do." She spat blood on the ground as she sat back up. "I care more then people realize, I can't let you do this to yourself Lin."
"DAMN YOU!!" I picked her up and shoved her back, she stumbled but stood on her feet, I yanked my daggers from my sheath and threw them at her feet. "FIGHT BACK!!!"
"If that's the only thing that'll calm you." She sighed, reaching down to pick them up, glaring at me with no anger but that annoying determinations, the spark flaming in her eyes. "Then be my guest."
With a yell I ran at her, my claws clashing with my daggers, her arms straining against mine before kicking me away, a gust of air instantly sending me back at me, shins clashing together.
"I know anger makes you act out Lin." I blasted a cloud of snow at her and attacked from behind, clawing at her side.
"I know it hurts." I felt my own dagger through my shoulder as I grabbed her and grabbed her and tackled her down before a jet of water blasted me away, I let the wind grab me mid air as I rubbed my chest as it stung, I yanked the dagger out and threw it away.
"Lin everything will be better I promise." Her smiled annoyed me to no end as I readi--
I dropped out of the sky.
I fell to my feet and my left knee buckled.
"I knew I had no chance against you, as I never stood a chance against Mystery the day of the trial I fought her." I glared up at her as my other knee went numb and fell on my hands. "Same tricks, same outcome."
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!"
"The same trick I pulled on Mystery.... My blade was dipped in some paralyzing solution, in your anger your blood flows faster so it acted up fast, Mystery almost outlasted me when she had been cut with the poisoned blade but she was calm and collected." She dropped my dagger and walked over.
"THAT'S WHY YOU THREW YOUR DAGGER!!!"
"Yes, I just needed to occupy you as long as it needed for it to take effect." She kneeled down by me, I tried to yell but my whole body was giving in despite how much I fought it.
She hugged me against her.
She said nothing.
Just held me.
As I passed out slowly, eyes still trained on the prey but with no chance of getting to it.
"Everything will be fine." I heard her whisper and drag her fingers through my hair as I lost to fight to this poison and fell unconscious in her arms.
