"I knew you were suicidal when talking back to mather the way you do but not THIS much." I blank faced at Siera, they had took after me when I still called Mystery mather.

We hadn't stopped once for sleep until we got home, she is too parano.

"I am not painting the target on my back myself missy." I said with a sigh, I was sitting on her bed behind her, braiding her hair, I should do Kia's too, it is messy.

"You kinda do, flaunting your power and status."

"You know I don't do that."

"You are like mather, you own a pair of night clothes and the rest is the mage's uniform, that itself has meaning since even those that never saw any mages in their life time would know who you are from the insignia and dress choice, tho I guess since you always scratch of the insignia that's less of a give away."

"You are too intelligent for your age, you and Kia both." I pinched her cheek.

"Unhand me!" I laughed as she swatted my hands away. "You know I hate that."

"Yeah your skin gets red from the smallest pinch."

"Bitch."

"Language."

"Now that's just hypocritical."

"You right.... Truce?"

"Fine."

"Good choice, you can't beat me your innate magic hasn't even manifested yet."

"Shall I bury you?"

"Shut up got it." I nodded, she didn't like the subject, feeling she needs to exceed in everything faster then normal because of being the blood heir to my mother her Majesty. "Any love trouble?"

"I still can't decide! Mother made it very clear by almost killing a foreign monarch when she is just about to pop our newer sibling that there won't any trial for my hand no matter how much they try to force her hand." I.... Can imagine that easily. "But I still don't know even without the worries about that."

"What's wrong with liking both? It isn't that common here in Solor but there are nobles, kings or queens with multiple consorts..... Don't tell me it is because of that imaginary judging eye you imagine mother giving you."

"Again Liny, that's hypocritical."

"Touché." I sighed. "But that's mother not Mystery, as we all realize Mystery knows nothing when it comes to romance or just emotions in general, you know the stories mother told us about how clueless she was and still might be about raising kid."

"Yeah, the one about them deciding to have Kia is my favorite." Ah yes, little Kia is Mystery's blood heir with my uncle Eleric since Mystery had yet to figure the spell to cut the male participant out of the equation. It was a joke in the family that Mystery so bravely marched into the room and two seconds later bolted out as if death was the one chasing her while uncle Eleric had done nothing but nodded in greeting.

"That one's good, I admit but I prefer the story when you were born, when she fainted because no one told her it was a painful ordeal for the pregnant woman, mother was the one to comfort her exhausted as Mystery kept apologizing while uncle Em tried to drag her away to let mother rest."

"Lets find Kia." I raised an eyebrow. "She's with Kelarian." My eyes almost popped out of my head.

"That little beast keeps trying to marry me off!!" I jumped up "AGAIN!!!!" And took off running, Seira herself holding my arm as she chuckle while she was dragged behind.

------------------------------------------

"KIA MELINDA EROS KERASTA!!!" I yelled, sliding into the room.

"I've been found out." The little squirt said.

"Wh-- Why is--- Why?" I couldn't get it out as I noticed mother was here too.

"Her idea." Kia tried to blame mother as Kela looked stuck, going along with this as if she had no choice whatsoever.

"Mother's idea to make the elf look like a prostitu--" I didn't get to finish before Kela's lethal back of the head strike smacked down loudly.

"I just provided the clothes." Mother said, looking amused by all of these greatly.

"You asked me to entertain her." Kela added. "I admit, I didn't expect to play dress up and--" Another smack. "I am not a prostitute, this is her Majesty's clothes."

"What's a prostitute?" All of us had our blood freeze over as Kia innocently asked that.

"Someone that makes money with.... Dancing?" I smacked Seira on the forehead.

"I wanna be a pros--" "NO!!!" Everyone yelled before Kia could finish her thoughts.

"Fine." She crossed her arm with a small displeased pout before smiling.

"No, I won't marry Kela." I said making her pout again but harder, having guessed her thoughts.

"Trust my Liny, she isn't the worst you picked out."

"Not you too!!" I yelled at Siera as they laughed at my dismay. "And why are you laughing Kela?!"

"Are you so bad at this that your family got to help you?"

"You tree fucker!" I yelled at the elf, how dare she go along with this game?! "I am leaving!" I backed out into the window and fell out of it, a climbing rose vine grabbed my left foot and slowed my fall, hand brushing the grass before it chucked me upwards and I landed on the roof.

------------------------------------------

I liked being this high up.... But someone else did too....

"Lin." I slightly bowed my head in greeting but never broke eye contact.

"Mystery." It was a tense silence, she was sitting on the ledge with her legs hanging off the roof, of course I end up on the part of the roof where she is.

"Siera and Kia are getting better training, someone new." This was the tense conversation we'd have when talking, bringing up anything to fill the silence when we weren't yelling at each other, whatever subject came to mind at the time.

"Good, never liked that man anyway.... Belladonna is happy where she is."

"I knew she was alive, I'd know if she died, pleased to know she found the reason she left for."

"She did, wild magic is finicky but now that she lacks the elemental magic inside her she's trying to master that a bit."

"Good on her."

And the tense silence was back.

I looked at the sunset she was watching while talking to me.

I looked back at her and slowly walked over, sitting down an arms length away, neither acknowledged this as we both stared off at the red and orange skies together.

Even tho many things are uncertain and still unknown.

It felt good to be home.
