"So you a spirit and are called Linniel?"

"Wow mather back up," I pushed her back with a finger against her chest. "And yes it seems but hey, you made me somewhat dragon? My hair did shift from the blue it was to this reddish auburn with silver streaks don't start to get worried I would wish for what I didn't have back. Yeah he's my father but not who was there in my life, I enjoy knowing where I came from and why I was there to be found by you but its not them that gave me this life."

"Nice speech." She crossed her arms. "But could you hurry home, the eclipse isn't that far off, I am still half dead and your newest sibling is just around the corner, there is other stuff but that's the most important."

"Right right, do you have an idea how we'll narrow down the search area, we know it is in ruins but this place indicated is a whole bunch of ruins."

"Well one way would be on dragon or spirit back to fly around and survey the area from the air and try to find lingering magic or something out of place and another is to go there and go towards the way where there is the most resistance... Another way in would be to be caught and brought to the area by them but from there fighting to one, get free, and two, stop their plan, would be really hard."

"We are at a bad position right now."

"Yes but with your affinity to spirits because you are partially one might help, with this merge coming there are more spirits manifesting, on purpose or not doesn't matter, all life should be against the idea of Aurelius resurfacing so you could call for them to help."

"But how?"

"Just as easily as you enter the spirit world it should be as easy to pull someone or something out of it by opening a gate."

"Right." I sighed. "I just wanted to be a mage not some hybrid legendary creature to have rule over the realms gate stuff."

"I didn't wanna be a dragon with my parents being the queen of dragons and the first elemental but look at me I still ended up being it.... Just own up to it and don't push away what you are and your fire might be like it once was."

"I would enjoy that but I am not rejecting this side of me."

"You are like I was tho I easily got passed it, you hold on the feeling you are a human only, you need to find the other side of the coin you are, for me it was a dragon I thought to be the guardian of death for a while you it will be something else."

"How do I find it tho?"

"For me it was almost dying but I don't recommend that approach, I know it is not your favorite thing to do but think of meditating and diving deep in yourself."

"I will I will, I should head back, see you later."

"Don't let me hold you back."

"So, you are sure you don't want to come back with us?" I asked my father.

"This is my home just like the life you built is yours, I do wish I got to spend some time with you growing up but I'll take what I can get." I nodded.

"I might pop in one of these days if I need some spiritual help I can't figure out."

"I'll wait for that day, have a safe journey."

"Have a safe... Well have a safe 'stay in the temple' to you."

"As awkward with language are you mother."

"Which?" I chuckled while he smiled. "I am serious, I have a dragon and a spirit, neither are good with human feelings or outright human stuff, I am disadvantaged here."

"Lin!"

"Coming!" I yelled at Kela who was standing with the rest on the frozen lake already, Kia in her arms so she didn't slip and fall.

"Don't let her go." I looked back at my father. "It's once in a life time chance."

"Don't worry, I am not about too." I smiled and with a wave I jogged down the stairs and hoped off to join my little group. "Lets go!"

"Why such a hurry?" Fin asked.

"I just wanna get home."

After walking for a bit Kela caught up with me.

"You know my ears are better then you think they are." She said and marched ahead of me, leaving me wonder how much has she heard of people telling me to marry her or what I said to others about her.

It was hard to hide the pink of my cheeks along with a smile, two can play this game Kela.
