"And hop." I sat Kia on Mir-til, I would like to keep her in the castle while we go looking for my father but I am the only other one knowing how to help with her problem so I must bring her. "Hold on tight I'll be back soon, don't ride her into a wall like last time."

"Okay."

"I am happy you worked a few things out even if it wasn't while she was of this world." Mother said, I nodded.

"I don't think we are buddy buddy yet but it is better, I guess it was true she didn't realize the impact of how she spoke to me."

"And I'm sorry I didn't realize you took her words differently then us."

"It is fine mother, be careful okay? We do not want you hurt so close to popping."

"That's one way to say it." I laughed and hugged her gently.

"You know me, I never am eloquent unless needed."

"You never are.... Be careful out there, you and your sister, if not I will find a way to learn magic and drag you back to life to kill you if something happens."

"Please don't, those spells are banned from use."

"I promise nothing."

"The twins and Kela are coming too don't worry about us, the knights found traces of a man fitting some of my features up north so we have a lead."

"It will cut the time you are away."

"Exactly."

"Unfortunately I'd like to have someone come with you."

"Mother."

"Hear her out, she will be much more important then you think."

"She almost killed my mather."

"I know but she has some useful info."

"Like what?"

"Some inner workings of the cultists or some of their hide outs."

"And why would she be telling the truth?" I crossed my arms.

"You'll have to ask but trust me, she didn't try anything while we were alone."

"YOU WERE ALONE WITH HER?!!"

"Lin you sound like your mother."

"Oh my gods mother!!"

"I know how to take care of this and of myself, trust me, this is information that could useful if you come to face something she knows about."

"Fine but I can do what I want."

"No murder nor torture, you mages are all so violent."

"You blame us?"

"No, not with your mother."

"Fine, she'll come but keep a mage or at least general Ethan near you all time please."

"I will dear I am not stupid."

When the woman was first brought out I had stiffened my fingers flat and stabbed them at her shoulder, the explanation I gave was vengeance but it was a precaution, shutting the magic flow to her arms so she couldn't cast any spells on us as only I and the twins got training in expelling magic from all limbs from my mather and before that she was the only one to do it as it was hard.

I rode Mir-til with Kia and the woman who's name I didn't know had her arms tied tightly behind her back and swung over Fen's horse.

"Linny have you married her yet?"

"Kia no stop trying." I chuckled. "Even if I ever planned so I don't have rings."

"Like these?"

"Little lady you stole from mother?!" I clutched the two simple, golden and silver, rings she produced from her little shoulder satchel.

"She let me take them."

"Put them away." I put them back in there. "Of people see them they'll try to steal it."

"We can't have that!"

"No we can't."

"Girls and dude I think we could camp down here for the night." Fin declared pointing to a flatter part of the ground.

"I don't think we should stop." Fen added with a shake of his head.

"Fen we should tho, Kia is getting tired."

"Na-ah!"

"Ya-ah."

"I'll just agree with with Lin." Kela nodded at me. "You kids might be full of energy but we have a younger one with us plus the horses can't walk all day and be ready to gallop the next second."

"Three against one Fen." I told him.

------------------------------------------

"So what important stuff do you have for us to need us to drag you with us?" I asked the woman, heel digging in her shoulder as I stood over her, body weight all pressed in that one point.

I didn't like spark of fear but want my display caused in her mud colored eyes, she wasn't anything special, the usual brown of mud as her hair and it was in a pony tail reaching mid back, average in all ways, flawed as humans are.

"Speak before I finish the job!" I spat with a hiss, water whipping around my hand and lashing at the ground next to her head as warning.

"I-I have knowledge about the cult!" She quickly said with a gulp.

"So it is a cult." We've just been assuming before because they all wore these black cloaks with a golden eye on it but she proved the theory. "Do you know what they want with me?" She was dressed in some servant garbs now, a light brown tunic and brown pants with boots.

"N-no I was t an underling, t-they didn't tell me much only that i-if you didn't join our cause you needed to p-perish."

"Then what use do you have? That's all we need from you." I pressed down more, if I were to shove on my foot I might even pop her shoulder as they were still tied behind her.

"There are many secret bases, I can get in those places, I know where they are, you can attack the headquarters straight on if they fall on your way."

"That could be useful but telling us the codes and placements would be enough."

"I-I can't do that."

"WHY NOT?!?!" I whipped my hand back.

"Lin." I took a deep breath and snuffed out the lightning in my hand and dropped it, the woman trying to hide her face in her shoulder with closed eyes.

"Why not?" I repeated.

"B-because a spell is cast."

"A speak-not spell I assume?" Somethings cannot be said if that spell is set over them until the one casting it has disbanded the spell or died.

"Y-yeah."

"What else can you offer?"

"O-other info, please..."

"Fine, you'll get to live another day." I stepped off her. "Fen you take first guard, then Fin, Kela and then I, always keep an eye on her." I said while walking to Kia and scooping the dozing of child in my arms before sitting down behind her and laying down, letting her use my body as a bed as she snuggled her head under my chin and gripped my corset in her hand.

I stared up at the sky between the tree leaves before closing my eyes, willing myself to visit the spirits again.
