I gasped but only bubbles escaped my mouth.... Tho I wasn't drowning.

I looked around and I saw I was floating in water and saw the hole of the pond far above my head.

I felt so cold and weak, sinking down in this water when a glimpse of a tail let me snap free of my weighing thoughts.

You again.

I watched the serpent that brought me into the spirit plains and flew me to the jungle, swim gracefully around me, advancing by batting its tail around as it came to stop before me, this time its eyes were a deep ice blue, matching my own.

I tried to ask it something but again, only bubble rose through the water.

It twisted its body under me and I grabbed on, letting it drag me through the water.

---------------------------------------------------

The water turned pitch black before a blurry scene appeared in front of me as the spirit stopped moving, the scene sharpened and blood froze as I watched it from an outside perspective as I flung the drop of blood behind me and my wrist clicked.

Seeing my body twist itself to the breaking point with my veins explosion and sending blood flying as I botched my first attempt to blood magic was horrifying to see happen from outside my own body.

I grabbed my arms tightly, shivering at the sight of the mess I made of myself in a few seconds, knowing now it was much easier to accidentally control your own blood then someone else's but at the time I didn't and wondered why Mystery struggled to use blood magic on someone else and only one person at time.

I frowned sadly as she truly looked so horrified as she rushed over to my body, scrambling to do something to keep me alive.

I started to cry again at her desperation as the green glow of her wild magic spammed my bones back into the correct position and I looked human again as the skin closed up again, leaving the familiar scars all up in my body.

I cringed as the sight of her stabbing the small blade in the back of her arm near her elbow and drag it down to her wrist, I knew I had literally exploded almost all my blood from my body but I didn't know she blood magic-ed her own into me to be sure I lived, I just thought her magic had affected me so much my hair changed color to the magic she was more in tuned with and by consequence making me almost blood family.... But the idea of her blood literally being mine never crossed my mind.

The spirit darted forwards and burst through the image that went up in dust before slowing to a stop again as another took shape.

It was a scene of Mystery telling me off for doing something and stopping the training, I cringed at my own reaction of getting mad at her and shoving her with my shoulder as I walked off.

I feel guilty watching her raise her hand and set it on the shoulder I shoved with my own with a conflicted look on her face.

The spirit dragged me along.

I saw Mystery with her eyes going wide and yelling at aunt Calypso as to where uncle Leo was, looking so hurt, an expression I never saw on her face as her silver flame crept up her arms before she snuffed them out as little young me busted into the room, demanding training.

My expression fell as I saw her shake the hurt away to walk over and announce she couldn't train me today only to have me scream at her that she was the worst and always putting it off before marching away.

I watched the images be washed away as my spirit friend brought me further.

I saw her smiling at me and tell me to do it again as I got mad for her making me do stuff on repeat and mocking me, she tensed slightly and sighed with a frown I took for disappointment towards me and got even more mad.

I saw her sadness shine in her eyes as I smiled so happily at everyone in our family but hate she couldn't understand when I faced her.

I saw her hand over her face as she stood in her room with her back to the door, silent tears dripping down her face after a fight.

I saw her meditate, going to the spirits for advise on what she was doing wrong.

I saw her worry as lightning struck me again but believed I was almost there before I lashed out at her and burnt her arms with molten rock, even then I saw pride as she scolded me.

I saw disappointment when she realized I was the one to mess up a bar.

Disappointment as I was questioned.

Disappointment as I hit her through a wall.

Disappointment when she didn't find me in my room the next day.

I was sobbing as the image faded, she was disappointed but never at me, she was disappointed in herself for thinking she failed me, she fought she failed at everything and could never repair  it, I could see it in her eyes.

I looked up at one last image that came too life in front of me.

Mother crying into her hands, alone in her room, crying rivers.

I saw Kia teary eyed ask my mage-hood siblings why I was gone and when would I come back as they themselves tried to hide their worries.

I saw Siera sit over a book but not read just stare, wondering if she could have done something.

I saw my royal uncles wandering the towns on horse back with guards, questioning people about me.

I saw my royal aunt join my mother and try to comfort her.

I saw my mage uncle and aunts scout the places where the simple humans couldn't go.

I saw Mystery, a silver dragon, flying through the sky, looking ready to fall out of it as if each movement of her wings caused great pain, scanning the ground bellow with her eyes.

I hugged myself and cried even more, I am so selfish, so so so selfish.

The spirit nudged my chest and I hugged its head tightly as I cried and cried.

After a while it freed itself and darted towards the surface and I held on.

It flew out of the pond opening and high into the sky, straight towards a whirlpool looking formation in the sky and flew through it.

---------------------------------------------------

I gasped and straightened, whipping my head around as I panted.

I was still sitting in Belladonna's tree at the edge of the pool.

I was trembling and sweaty as I stared into the calm pond in front of me and yet again started crying softly.
