I didn't like what stood in front of me.

"How?" I whispered, the light from the sky falling at least half if not more, creating a dark dusk.

"How?" They looked at me with eyes that were just pitch black. "You are not the only one with flaws to grab on too." They grinned.

"LEAVE MY MATHER ALONE!!!" I jumped up and ran but and lash of silver fire threw me back, back and head smacking against the wall and falling back down.

"Why would I? You found a way to escape me." Her silver hair was nothing but pitch black and floating as if in water. "But you brought her along with you, once there was a time her soul had a smooth protection over it, but this close? This close?!?! Don't make me laugh, you.... You are her greatest weakness and grabbing onto that, I got a new vessel and a strong one at that!"

"Leave her alone Aurelius!" I was trembling trying to glare but I was half failing.

"One gate.... It was all that remained..... Poor you.... You failed~." They started laughing, his voice speaking and my mather's echoing as she was under his control fully.

I looked at the sky as the total eclipse with tears in my eyes..... No.... I didn't fail....

"I will soon be free!!"

I glanced at the gates, the spirit gate wasn't glowing anymore and a dark glow was coming from the void gate instead.

When the eclipse will be over... The worlds will start slowly drifting apart and only in the eclipse is the void gate able to be open.... And he said he'd soon be free despite owning my mather's body....

IF I CLOSE THE GATE I CAN STILL STOP HIM!!!!

I sprang to my feet, dashing towards the void, hand out towards it.

A hand clasped around my wrist and yanked me aside, pulling me onto a strong punch.

I gasped, going limp as I cough, head falling on her shoulder as her fist dug into my stomach, feeling it churn from the hit.

I felt her fist open and a blast sent me back against the wall, this time my hands behind my head to protect it.

"Oh no no no." She hissed, glaring with those black eyes. "I will not let you do that."

I glared, getting on my knees, I need to do this before the eclipse is over or its all over.

I stood, running at her, whipping water from the air and bringing a pillar of stone up under my feet.

She just took the hit and jumped up to grab my leg and slammed me in the ground.
