Secret: Twenty-Nine

"Kapagod! Kain tayo sa Mcdo diyan sa malapit." Ani ko nang maii-sarado ko ang pintuan ng kotse. Katatapos lang naming mag kumuha ng schedule ngayon para sa second sem. Ipinatong ko na lang sa harapan ang envelope naming dalawa kung saan nakalagay ang schedule, certificate at card namin para sa first sem.

Pinuri pa kami ng adviser namin na may panghalong asar. Parehas na naman kami ng rank kasi ni Isaac.

"Alam mo paubaya mo na sa akin yung rank 1, diba ladies first? Dapat ako lang una kasi babae." Sabi ko sa kanya habang sinasawsaw sa gravy ko yung fries bago ito sinubo.

He just shrugged and continue eating. Hindi na rin kami nagpatagal dahil kukunin pa namin yung isang tuta at ihahatid sa bahay ni kuya Sid. I remembered promising him that I will give him one of my puppies.

Two days ago umuwi na kami nang sabihin sa amin kung kaila kuhanan ng schedule kasama na ang cards namin. Dala ko dito ang pansarili kong album na wala pang laman. Magpapa-develop ako ng picture namin na siyang ilalagay ko dito.

Next week pasukan na kaya naman bukas, Sunday, bibili na kami ng panibagong binder at kung ano pang school stuff na wala na kami. New Sem means new subjects, new subjects means new groups. Sana lang talaga pagpalain ako sa mga kagrupo ko ngayong sem.

After picking up the puppy, we hurried to Kuya Sid's place para ibigay. When we got there, he invited us to eat dinner but we refused because Isaac asked Manang lita to cook his favorite dish tonight.

I slammed the door after getting out. "You shouldn't do that!" Isaac hissed when we successfully entered the house.

"What?" I asked.

Is it because I slammed the door of his car? Ah, boys and their cars.

"You should have wait form me to open the door for you!"

Inirapan ko na lang siya. "May kamay ako para magbukas, Isaac." Nagpatuloy ako mag lakad hanggang kitchen. Sakto namang kakapatay pa lang ng apoy ni Manang Lita. "Manang, dito na kami kakain. Sabay na rin po kayo." Sabi ko sakanya. she shook her head and said her good night dahil kumain na ito kanina.

Sunday, we woke up late kaya lunch nan ang makaalis kami ng bahay at pumunta sa mall para bumili ng supplies. Doon na din kami nagdinner after buyin some stuff and the our school supplies for tomorrow.

I was fixing my uniform when I realized that, the weekends come and ends so fast. Tomorrow I will meet my friends again. I missed them actually, sayang lang talaga hindi sila nakasama sa rancho nakaraan.

Isaac and I didn't talk anything that happened in the ranch. I don't know why but, it's better be that way. I think.

"Amara, make it faster please?" I look at my wrist watch just too the time. If I will act slow, we will sure be late for our first period.

"One moment, babe!" I shouted.

One more look at my full length mirror before going out. Dumiretso na agada ko sa labas ng gate dahil alam kong nagmamadali na si Isaac. I thought he was already inside of his car but nope, he was standing outside the car.

I smiled when he opened the shoutgun's door. "Get inside, my Queen." He smiled at me when I chuckled. As I get inside the car, I saw a red rose in front of me. Aww, nagpapak ata ng ilang pack ng asukal kagabi si Isaac at ang tamis niya ngayong umaga.

I thanked him for opening the door and giving me a rose when he starts the engine. I opned a topic for our talk, just random things in our life.

"So, what are you expecting for later hmm?" We arrive at school just in time. May time pa kami para maglakad na hindi nagmamadali papunta sa classroom namin.
