Secret: Forty-Six

"Take care!" I shouted at them nang makalabas ng gate. Isaac will drive the kids to their school while I will fetch my two nephew from their father's condo. Mabuti na lang talaga pina paalagaan mabuti ni tita yung condo niya, kung hindi siguro, hindi nila malilipatan 'yon sa sobrang dumi.

Isaac called me while driving. I can hear the voices of my children singing. Ganoon ang nangyari sa biyahe namin. Pero nag paalam na rin ako nang makarating sila sa school. I told them to see me at school later, I will just fetch someone.

Ilang saglit pa ay nakarating na ako sa penthhouse na pinag titigilan ngayon ng pinsan ko. Binilisan ko ang pag lakad ko at pumasok agad sa elevator. Nang makarating s atamang floor ay agad akong nag tungo sa harapan ng pinto. Pinindot ko ang buzzer at kumatok.

After a seconds, two young boy was already in front of me, wearing their uniforms.

"Take care of them Princess, please? Kailangan ko na talagang mag madali. Mom will kill me if malate ako."

Sinuotan ko parehas ng seatbelt ang dalawang bata sa likod at umupo na sa harap para mag maneho. I called Isaac muna bago ako nag drive. I asked their location already, wala pa man daw sila sa school kaya tinignan ko ang oras, maaga pa naman.

Hawak ko ang kamay ng mga bata nang pumasok kami sa loob ng school. Una kong hinatid sa room ang isa, dahil hindi naman sila mag kaklase pero mag katabi lang room nila. Nalate pa nga sila kaya naman kinausap ko na muna yung teacher saglit.

"Behave okay? If may gusto sabihin, you just raise your hand. Godluck!" Tumango sa akin ang pamangkin ko at saka ito hinalikan sa noo. Nag paalam ako dito at kumaway naman ang kuya niya.

Sunod kaming lumipat sa katabing room. I knocked on the door and a teacher came out. She opened the door to let my nephew in, "Ask teacher if you want to say something okay? Goodluck!" Paalala ko sa kanya.  I saw my daughters so I waved at them.

"Sorry late, traffic kasi. Notify me if my kids did something, alright. Thank you."

I smiled at the teacher and walked towards the nannies of my children. Wala na si Isaac so I guessed that he's on his way to his work. I drive my way to the MGC, agad akong nag tungo sa President's office. As I expected, his secretary didn't stop me going in and just bowed his head as a sign of respect.

Pag kapasok ko pa lang ay napanganga na ako sa papel na asa lames ani kuya.

Don't tell me...

He seems busy scanning the papers so I faked a cough to divert his attention to me. Ganoon nga ang nangyari at sandalling bumalik ang mata niya sa papel bago ito tumingin sa akin saka ngumisi.

"Come here, review these papers." He motioned me to come closer at his table.

"Kuya, lahat 'yan?" Tanong ko habang nakatingin sa mga papel na maraming nakasulat.

Then suddenly I just wanted to backout. "Kuya what if, just kick Dr. Cruz and move him to another hospital?"

"That won't happen." He pointed the swivel chair, "Sit." Nakanguso akong umupo habang siya naman ay may pinindpt sa teleponong andoon sa lamesa. "Lopez, come in." Ilang segundo lang ay pumasok na yung lalaking asa labas kanina.

"This is my sister, Collette." tinuro niya sa akin. Lopez waved at me. "You can call her Mrs. Martin or Miss Collette, if you want. Gather all head department in conference room, and call the investors at ten. I will introduce her to everyone."

I started reading and scanning the papers. When Lopez told us that the heads are all ready waiting, tinabi ko na muna ang mga na-scan ko na at tumayo para sumunod sa kuya kong nangungna na.
