Gilthunder x reader fluff

Gilthunder checked his temperature and saw that it was 100 degrees. Dang it. Right when (Y/N) is supposed to visit. He thought to himself. Gilthunder then heaved himself up and out of bed to get ready for the day. After he was dressed for training, he walked out the door to his room. When he got to training, he saw his friends Griamore and Howzer talking to you, his girlfriend. When he got over to you, he hugged you from behind. You giggled as Griamore snickered. "You're just jealous that you can't do this to Veronica without her getting mad Griamore." he retorted. It was Gilthunder's turn to laugh as Griamore turned bright red. After a few minutes of talking, you all started to train. You and Gilthunder paired up while Griamore and Howzer paired up. A few minutes in, Gilthunder felt a little lightheaded and decided to sit down. After a few minutes passed, he got back up again and started to spar with you once more. This time, his lightheadedness got even worse and now had a dizzying feeling paired with it. Gilthunder stood still and shut his eyes to stop the horrible feeling from getting even worse. However, when he opened his eyes again, he saw white spots blurring his vision before he fell on top of something soft and plush.

When Gilthunder woke up again, he saw that he was still in the training arena. However, his face was buried in something soft. After he lifted his head, he saw that he had face planted right into your chest. He got up and apologized immediately afterward. However, Gilthunder's apology was cut short when you grabbed his hand, told Howzer and Griamore that he would be taking the day off, and dragged him back to his chambers. When the two of you got there, you laid him down on the bed and got a thermometer. When you were done checking his temperature, you looked at him and then spoke. "100 degrees Gil, that's a fever in case you didn't know." you remarked sarcastically. Gilthunder turned his head to the side, only to have you cup his face in your hands and turn his head to face you. "Gil, you have to look after yourself. Please." you begged. Your boyfriend nodded in response and then laid back down. After you made him some soup and then gave him some water, you got in the bed with him and laid his head on your chest. He turned bright red in seconds as he tried to protest. However, you looked at him sternly. "Sleep Gil, it's the only way you're going to get better. I'll ask Merlin to make you some medicine tomorrow." you said. He then nodded and wrapped his arms around your waist before falling asleep on your chest. Not long after, you fell asleep as well in the comforting presence of your boyfriend.
