46. Training camp

So what we have to do is to pinpoint these key places in the human and wolf body to better our chances of survival," Everybody was listening intently to what the three instructors had to say.

Rosy was in the middle, showing each and different 'knockout' point, as Lilith was presenting with a really cool animation our brothers from Niños de la Diosa-Luna, gave us, as a helping hand. 

They were a pack positioned in Tierra del Fuego, Chile, that had a nasty infestation of rogues stage 2 during the COVID pandemic back in 2020. So ever since, they were the first you'd call when you needed help.

They sent a team of 7 people, which the Beta of the Niños de la Diosa-Luna, Beta Tovio with them. They have been so helpful with our preparation.

I was first wary to be calling other packs for help at first. But Victrix and Olympe trust them, so why shouldn't I? I should move on from what had happened in 2016. Not every pack has an old grump conservative Alpha with outdated ideas from the past.

 I knew here has been a big radical change in the way saw their leaders back in 2021, not only for werewolves and their packs but also for the human world and their societies. 

It was a whole thing after the big pandemic people were so done of their shitty leaders that a big revolution started. 

That is where we received the biggest influx of refugees, almost doubling it, from only having 700 wolves living in Blood Crest to 1400 at the start of this year. 

We were still waiting for a response from Lorelai's team, they have been for a few days now and have yet to tell us if they were already in Moon Blood, the pack residing in the northern California frontier.

Moon Blood, such a bad name for a pack. It feels like a weird metaphor of having your period. They should really think about changing it. But this is the United States we are talking about, they do not like change, even though it was for the better.

And who am I kidding? Blood Crest isn't any better. 

Still much better than Moon Blood. I hear Sybilla snark in my head, making me smile. These past few days we were more open and communicating with each other, always looking for the better option for everything.

It may be because we are not having better sleep, we are no longer fighting with Malcolm as much. And we are not fighting with Malcolm anymore we do not have enough hours in the day to just have a block where we can just talk about our past issues.

I know it is not better, but we both said that we have to talk about this when all this blows over. So if everything goes as planned, on January 13th, 2028, we are going to have a long talk about all of the things we aren't talking about today.

Look at us being so adulty. Real progress, human. 

But before I could thank Sybilla for the compliment Beta Tovio comes to my side.

Beta Tovio is a tall handsome beauty. With long hair that was similar to mine, he really was making some wolves in my pack glance more than once. 

I would've too if I no longer was immune thanks to my gorgeous mate that was now showing the group of 4-5 years old how to do a surprise attack on someone that is bigger than they are. 

He really was good with kids.

"Alpha Crest," He says bowing his head. I reciprocate the movement and raise an eyebrow for him to continue. "I just wanted to ask what you are meaning to do with the rogues' Moon Blood will provide?"
