"Are we all in position?" A voice asks on the walkie talkie. You hear multiple beeps, the code that people were in position. I look at Malcolm, praying that we were right on doing this.
Everybody in the tent was looking at me to give the next line of orders.
We were almost 80 people in the impromptu tent that was built for us. All of them were Colonels, Captains, Generals from other countries. They all came here to help and capture Lee. These were all the ones that knew the most of war tactic. They all had something to hate Lee.
Since that faithful day where my pack decided to ignore my orders, we have been contacted by all these people that wanted to help. Two days later we were all leaving the pack willingly and going to this secret deserted place up North.
It was especially hard when we had to abandon our pack to hide in a special location in the North of Brazil. Even more North than our pack is. We knew that for this to work, we needed to abandon our home, to let Lee invade. It was an old abandoned high-school. And the tent was placed in the middle of the backyard, nicely hidden by the creepy looking abandoned school.
The 1200 members of my pack were now sleeping in different classrooms and the added 1400 new crew members volunteers. It felt claustrophobic at times, but my pack has lived through worse. So this was practically a big excursion for them.
We brought the mere minimum here, knowing that if everything worked out, we would be back in our pack in less than a week. Some clothes, pair of shoes, and every armament we could. We had to be quick if we wanted to save our kids before it was too late.
We knew it was a possibility that Lee could've followed us here, so we decided to go through the dense part of the Amazonian, by small groups and camouflaged at night. It takes 36 hours to where we were.
These all were people that were trusted by their peers and were known to keep a secret. Plus their own country's government and the Werewolf Committee gave the humans an NDA before this whole thing started.
So the humans knew that if they even spoke about our wold and what was happening right now, they were going to get sued and demoted. We had a few times where humans came into contact with us and tried to rat us out. They immediately were sent into an asylum.
Why do you do when a person cries wolf? Well, you look for that person. Nobody will believe you unless they see it with their own eyes.
The rest of my pack was outside, some in missions, others on the lookout.
"Target is moving," A voice is heard in the walkie-talkie. I touch the button to talk.
"How many?" I finally ask, trying to stop my hand touching the button to stop trembling. I was extremely scared. I feel Malcolm come to me in the bond, calming me a little.
"Two cars and one big truck," The voice says again. I sigh, trying to gather my thoughts.
I look at the monitors that we had on the satellite images from the warehouses that I saw in my coma-dreams, You could see every ten seconds the images change and two cars and trucks leave the perimeters.
"How many guards?" I ask again, feeling a little more confident in all of this madness.
"2 outside in zone 4," One of the voices say.
"3 in zone 2."
"1 in zone 3.""There is nobody in zone 1, I think they went to pee in the bushes," I hear another voice say. That was Morgan talking. I facepalm, knowing that my brother was never much of going to the point sometimes.
"Oh, yeah, here they are. Wait a minute! Guys! The two guys in zone 1 were just having sex behind the bushes! Malcolm, Broyles, Argo, Eliette, you all owe 50 bucks!" He cheers.
