I am stuck in bed. I do not know how long I have been here. I have sometimes some clarity and can hear my surroundings. But apart from that I just continue resting, my human body and wolf completely out of it.

I can't do anything. I can't move. I can't talk. I can't even open my eyes.

So the only thing that I could do was to find out who was behind this attack.

This attack wasn't normal. They knew where to find us. They knew where our weak points were.

They attacked the yellow position. Everybody from my pack knew that was our weakest position. It had been burned from all the wildfires during the years, so we always had a harder time rebuilding it. Our trees were tired and the foliage was less dense.

Now how would the rogues know that? How would they know that was our weakest point and send the trucks from there?

Lee didn't know that, he couldn't, it became our weak point recently.

They could've attacked us from anywhere else. Like the beach, where the security was always scarce. Or even where the river crossed paths with the neighbor human village.

Who inside our pack could want to hurt our pack that much that they would betray their pack like that? There was no one that I could think of, making me even more nervous than before.

"Good, keep on it," I gasp when I can finally see. I was in one of the medical rooms in the human village. I recognize it thanks to my multiple visits to the ER when I was blackout drunk or overdosing.

I can move my body. It was now light as a feather like I was floating.

The door in my room was open and there was light coming from the corridor. The blinds were closed in my room, but you could still see that it was dark outside.

I face the person who talked to me. The White Lady.

"You're back," I say, getting up from my bed, trying to stabilize myself.

"I am," She says smiling. Her whole body was glowing, she even had a hallo on her head. She was different from the other specters I saw before. This one seemed more serene and I felt better when I saw her.

She was completely white, the crevasses of the Moon were drawn in her skin like tattoos. Her eyes were a weird combination of grey and white. And overall her beauty was intoxicating.

This was the Moon Goddess. At least, that is what I hope it was, she didn't look as evil as the other images I had from her.

"Am I going to die? You came here to pick me up?" It felt like my heart was sinking by the only thought of leaving Malcolm all alone.

So that is how it ends, me only wearing a medical gown, barefoot, not even some panties on and my hair braided by who I believed from my aunt when she visited me. Classy.

Now that I can see clearly, I had some visitors in my room. Victrix and Olympe were sleeping peacefully on the chairs next to my bed and don't seem to feel me move.

She smiles kindly, walking, or better yet hovering to my side, taking my hand.

"Not today, Alpha," She says, helping me to get up. "I am here for you," She doesn't explain further and starts walking to the corridor.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I think to myself out-loud and start following her, but before that, I look back at my bed and see myself still sleeping peacefully. I gasp and all of a sudden my surroundings change.

"I am not awake," I state, following her. She smiles, not looking at me, her pace not faltering.

"Not yet. You need to see something before returning," She tells me taking my hand.
