No, that's not a title, pangalan ko iyon. It was just an ordinary day, I woke up and went to my graduation and delivered my valedictory speech. But coming down the stage was the biggest plot twist in my life.

Two days after, we are boarding to Germany. And guess what, my sister is one of the pilots. This is a private plane and Ate owns this one. Ganyan siya kayaman.
"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We are now thirty thousand feet in the air and you can now buckle off your seatbelts." Umalingawngaw ang boses niya. "Can someone please check on Asher Rementilla, takot pa naman iyan sa eroplano."
"Oh, Jesus." Takip ni Kuya Asher sa mukha niya, halatang nahihiya at tumatawa. Pansin ko ngang di siya kumportable.
Kunpleto kaming magkakapatid and of course, kasama ang mga babies. Si Karlos at Ronna kasi, nahiya pa sumabay! They'll be taking the normal flight kasama ang ibang friends ni Ate Sophie at mga co-engineers ni Kuya Freude.
Kinarga ko si Sigmund at lumilitaw ang pagiging Valbuena niya sa murang erad. Marunong na siyang mag smirk! And his deep set of dimples are so adorable!
"Ang taba ni Sigmund."
"Mana sa nanay." Sabi ni Kuya Freude at agad na tumahimik dahil pinandilatan ni Ate Sophie, she became a bit chubby dahil nanganak ng magkasunod but still, she's curvy!
Tita Celestina is also in the flight and she's busy with the wedding. Isa siya sa organizer and I heard that Kuya Freude invested so much for this.
Tulog ako sa tabi ni Kuya Asher the whole trip, maybe because this is the only time na makakapag pahinga ako ng todo. And I want to be alive when we land on Germany. It is gonna be a long ass thirteen hours travel.
"Sadie, we're gonna land. Put on your seatbelt." Kuya Asher taps on my shoulder, I yawn while putting on my seatbelt. We're in Europe! And Ate's voice is telling us that we're gonna land in twenty minutes.
"Is this your first time in Germany, Kuya?"
"Yes. Hindi kami dumadaong dito kapag may sampa kami sa barko. It's always on the north. I've been on Russia, sobrang lamig. Then on Norway, down to France. Another route is to take the Suez Canal then back to China. Minsan kapag south america, ah, napuntahan ko na pala lahat."
He once told me that the reason he took maritime and pursued being a captain of a ship was because he wanted to travel just like Ate Belle. He wanted to see the world from the ocean's perspective.
"She's a pilot, I always knew she's going to be one. Minsan nga, kapag gabi at nasa karagatan kami, palagi akong tumitingala sa mga ulap. Ganoon palagi. Hinihiling ko na sana isang araw, kapag siya naman ang nasa eroplano, tatanawin din niya ang ibaba. And at some point, our horizons will meet. That was my everyday prayer. And the Lord made it happen."
The greatest thing I learned from elders like my siblings and their partners is that love can always wait. Because they all did, they all waited for their chance. They gave it up for a few years and went back to it. They all became successful.
And I am praying for mine, too.
"Oh, my God. Ang ganda ganda niya." Napatakip ako sa bibig ko, we are all set to walk down the aisle. Si Ate Sophie ang nasa pinaka likod and the wedding is held in this magnificent church. It is snowing outside but good thing at may heater itong church.
