Vanitas POV

I open my eyes and closed it again as I saw the brightness of the sun. I groaned and get up on the ground, my brows furrowed as I noticed I got up in four legs. I looked around and saw a tail behind me, as I turn around to see it fully, it moved so I ended up running in circles. I sat and sighed then it hit me

"The fvck Im an animal!!" I yelled and ran to a lake near me to see my reflection

"Oh shit! Im a lion cub! What the hell?!" I yelled and looked around to look for Xion

"Xion! Where are you!!" I shouted as I ran around the place

"Over here!" I heard her voice so I followed it and saw her running towards me with four legs but then she tripped so I ran to her

"Ugh! Im not used to this.." She mumbled as she get up

"I know right?" I agreed and she nod her head

"But it's kinda cool!" She exclaimed as she ran around the place so I laughed at her

"Stop it, we need to find someone.." I said so she stopped and her ears went down with a frown on her face

"Fine.." She replied so I ran to her and put my..paw on her head. It kinda sounds weird.. -_-

I looked around and we are kinda in a small island like land? Well, there's a few trees around and a lake at the center then around us is like a dried river or lake.. I began to think and walked out of the shades of the trees, then I heard something squall. I looked up and saw vultures flying around like they are waiting some food..

"Vultures? Then does that mean we are near with some dead animal?" Xion began to ask while I look around

"Maybe but I dont see any corpse around or something.." I said so I decided to walk, Xion followed me.

"This is a desert! How can we find some forest or someone in here?" She began to complain so I looked at her

"Oh cmon, you asked for this.." I said so she frowned at me. We continue to walk for about 30 minutes, I can feel myself sweating but since I have fur now and paws, I dont need to wipe it.. We saw something up ahead so we ran towards it

"Another desert like place.." Xion frowned as we arrived at the place. It's like a valley so I enter it, She followed me and looked around more..

After minutes of walking we arrived to a place that is like a ghost town, this must be the savannah. The trees are all dried up and the land is dead.. We saw a pointy rock up ahead so we went towards there. When we're in the middle of the place we saw three figures coming towards us and I noticed they were Hyenas

"Well well well, looky here Bonzai.. Seems like we already have dinner.." One of the hyenas said as they walk around us

"Yeah you're right Shenzi! Two meat for one night, isn't that great! Right Edd?" The other one spoke up

"Eeehee heeyahaha!" The other one laughed while his tongue is sticking out

"Uh, we're not that delicious you know!" Xion said but they just laughed

"Oh dont worry.. With this hunger of ours we wont mind the taste."

We backed away as they walk closer to us. I tried to find a way to escape so I tried to use my dark powers and made a mist of darkness around us to hide ourselves

"What the?!"

I heard them yell so we took our chance to run away and we did

"There they are!"
